I like Indian ink or Chinese ink very much. This is one of the Korean traditional materials that is not able to tell a lie. Even a small difference in the thickness makes a distinction in the traces of ink represented in a paper. The materials are quite sensitive but once it became handy, then this is the most innocent and easy-to-use materials.
Therefore, I painted myself with the ink whose characteristics are well matched with what I really want to become all the time. This is the piece made with Pointillism, through which I dropped the ink from above, putting a big paper down on the floor. I wanted to deepen the level of thickness in the ink from the most pale and then gradually to the thicker level and repeating several times drying and dropping processes.
