Yes, I take my camera to the grocery store. Whenever I feel stuck in a rut, I figure it couldn't hurt. The spices caught my interest, so that's what I shot.

I had my 60mm 2.8 macro on, and even though the aperture was set to f4, my DOF was really shallow.

Resulting is a dance with accompanying sound installation which creates a mysterious and understated atmosphere of self-examination. As the dancers harness and dispel energy, they hang in limbo between a cool, glassy facade and vulnerable disclosure.
