A few Cattle egrets came to our region, so although not much light , it was a great opportunity to test / try somethings out.

One of the few cranes still at Lynde Shores Conservation Area along Lake Ontario near Whitby before moving further north for the summer. Happy me, as this crane is a first sighting and photos for me!

We considered ourselves lucky to get shots of the male and female of these cowbirds. However, it wasn't luck as someone had dropped birdseed attracting these. We noticed as we passed the spot later.
