"Park of friendship", Belgrade. A squirrel has made a pile of nuts exactly over the Rajiv Gandhi's stone.
"Park of friendship" is a large area of trees near the CK building on New Belgrade. In the time of Tito and communism, visitor leaders from other countries were asked to plant a tree in this park. These stones serve as markers of trees and its planters.
Besides Rajiv Gandhi, there is the stone of his mother, Indira, then there are Fidel Castro, Margaret Thatcher, Jimmy Carter, and many more.

As any enthusiastic Osprey watcher will know Ospreys have one feature, at least, which is not helpful. They tend to sit on their eggs for rather a long time. Chickens sit for about three weeks, ducks for about four weeks but Ospreys do it for five weeks. We are not complaining you understand, but it does stretch the nerves and patience just a tiny bit. It also means that the poor soul writing this piece has to find extra things of interest to keep our pledge of a daily service. Now when a visitor happens to come along and mention that they think the bird food is put out in a rather artistic manner, well, you only have yourselves to blame.....enjoy the artwork.
