Another of my beloved notebooks, this one has all of my site data in it- sketches, notes about the weather conditions, survey setups etc. It makes me feel like Indiana Jones ;)

This was taken while I was on a vacation in Tokyo. I take my notebook everywhere I go to take notes or draw.
Sweet Ebay find under "office supplies." I picked up this beauty for around $15.00. It's a reusable planner/notebook made of bone. The concept is that you write on it with graphite and then it erases. Most of the ones I found online were between $250- $450; so I think I got a deal. Plus, it's badass! I think it dates from around 1850.
Journal „Secret Garden” from collection „Diary of Princess” - my interpretation on, how those diaries can look like these days.
This journal may serve as
- a diary
- a sketchbook
- a notebook
- a „good wishes” book (e.g. for newborn, on birthday party etc.)
- a guest book etc.
Measurements and materials:
Size A5 ( 21.5 x 15.5 cm), 2.5. cm thick, hardcover.
Includes 60 sheets of semi-dense white drawing paper. May be used as well for writing a as for drawing or sketching.
Both covers are wrapped with semi-cotton fabrics. Journal is bound with green ribbon, one end of which can be used also as a bookmark. It is a great pleasure to hold this book in hands and write in it.

Upper cover is wrapped with semi-linen fabric, back cover is rapped with white handicraft paper. Bound with brown cotton cord, one end of which can be used also as a bookmark. It is a great pleasure to hold this book in hands and write in it.

Picked this up at the Daiso a while back just because it's quirky. Finished my previous back-pocket-notebook today, and figure this will be my new one. First half of the pages are dotted grids, the last half are lined. Covers are very sturdy cardboard.
This one is a big screw-up. The kid has a four-year plan filled out, yet they can't seem to get him into the computer class. Stuck him in Modern Technology instead. Which he has absolutely no interest in. Leading to some less-than-fun parenting issues. I HATE the Grand Blanc, MI School District!
Another notebook: this one belongs to Jeff Kinney, the author of "Diary of a Wimpy Kid". This is where he reflects and logs his ideas
