I'm not sure. I'm a big user of Gmail and Google Calendar, and I really could do with using a notebook application more often, but on first look I just don't think this is as good as Backpack. If it integrates with Gmail and Gcal though, it'll probably win me over.

Last night I left my notebook at the dentist or at a coffee shop. It was one of those days of rush to school, rush to dentist, rush to eat, rush to soccer practice, and rush back to work late. In my busy day I fogot one of my most important things "My Notebook". All night I could't sleep worried I would never see it again. I am good at beating up on myself. The next morning I got up a 7am on a mission to find it. I thought I left it in the coffee shop bathroom in my rush to get to soccer practice on time but after I called they said no one found a notebook. I then went to the coffee shop to see for my self and see if it triggered any memories. Nothing.
I now had 1 hr to wait for the dentist to open. I was so sad and in all this fog it just made it worse. I figured if I drive above the fog I could see the sun to help me relax. When I got up to the mountain I saw dozens of photographers lined up waiting for the sun to come up over the mountains. I grabbed my equipment and tried to get in line but there where no spots with out getting in peoples way. I jumped down the view barrier and took these quick shots using bracketing to get the best exposure because I didn't have time to set things up correctly. After I took these quick shots my time was up.
I then drove back down to find the dentist light on. I yelled in the mail box until someone came to see me. THEY HAD MY NOTEBOOK!!!! JOY!!

Several months ago I started using little notebooks to make notes every day. Things about work, grocery lists, random blabberings. Usually the notebooks are cheapos that I buy at the Walmarts... but I splurged today.

This cute teeny hardback notebook is the perfect place. It's small enough to be popped in a bag (even a tiny clutch bag) or a pocket.
It's covered in gorgeous vintage fabric with pretty autumn coloured flowers on a white background (I've been finding new uses for the odds and ends from my mum's 70s fabric collection).
