A range of notebooks with blank, lined, squared and graph pages. Print them on different paper stocks and colours for different effects.
I start my new job on Monday, so I wanted to make myself a nice new notebook. I'm really pleased with how this came out. A friend brought the paper back from a trip to Japantown in San Francisco. The rest was made using my Zutter Bind-It-All and my stack cutter and my Xyron adhesive machine.
I used recycled paper, 4 page in one, and fold it as my index cards.

This is just some of my notebooks... a while ago I said I thought Cas put me to shame, but this is just what I have with me this week at uni (and almost always have). My diary and site notebook are always with me. I have more at home...
my NEW notebooks...designed and made by me, all are completely handsewn and very colourful :-)

Hopefully something like these would be suitable for maybe a journal / autograph/ inspiration notebook for the FQ Retreat Sample Swap...

I love this notebook from Muji. It's their A6 memo pad and has 200 sheets of
50% recycled paper. OK so it's not the best quality paper in the world but it does the job for me
Made this notebook with die cuts from Lawn Fawn Stitched Party Banner and stamped with PB Posies. For more info, please see walchowdesign.blogspot.nl/2016/05/notebook.html
I saw this cheapy notebook at Wal Mart and I might test it out as a journal in the upcoming months. The paper might not be "journal worthy", though. I also have a Moleskine plain reporter waiting in the wings if this fails. I'm one picky journal bitch, I guess.
And I am definetely doing something with that cover. That cover is kinda "trite-ish". This cover has a designers name on the back of it; Jacqueline Savage McFee. Wow, you designed pokadots and lines, omgz that's SO original.

If you try the tutorial, come back here and add photos of your books to this Flickr Group (called "Chopstick Notebooks").
This is my latest cover.
Large A4 size journal.
I used vintage Kimono silks and did a little bit of crazy quilt embellishment on the fabric seams with threads and beads
My daughter loves notebooks and journals and this is intended as part of her birthday present next month so...sssshhhh don't tell her!
