I finished the music-note dress today and here it is on Sora! I just love the fabric with the tiny notes and treble clefs so much, they're just so tiny and cute!!

When Lucky first arrived here, he was only a little more than a year old. His skin was very pink. As he gets older, he is developing changes in pigment. Now his lips have black spots on them, and his eyelids are also getting spots. Who knows, in a few years he may be a tricolor!
Tip #32029: Practise writing notes before you go out on a field visit. That way you can look back at your notes 2 months later and not have to say, "WTF is that supposed to mean?!"

NOTES is a series I started in 1968. NOTE TO ERIK was the second one completed but the footage goes back to 1966. When I saw the footage I loved it, but didn't feel ready to deal with it. Seeing Sharon Moss again, who had moved to NYC from Storrs, CT inspired me to return to this footage to make a note to a mutual friend ERIK KIVIAT. It took about 2 years for me to feel I could respond to the generosity of her performance and the images I had gathered and shaped in my camera. Sharon Moss and her cats play and dance naked in the snow.
Working on a dress for my neighbor's daughter. I also made a dress for Abby from "scratch" today. I just kinda winged it. Of course, she won't try it on until tomorrow. Whatever the hell logic is behind that, I really don't know.
This is s typical note that people wrote in/on the temple. Since the temple was to be burned, people put all their bad thoughts in there, and their prayers for something better.

Monitor set to show an apple picture, with the brightness turned all the way down to accomodate the long exposure time.
Apple picture exposure set all the way down, again to help with the long exposure time.
Desk lamp placed on the floor, pointed up at the figure.
Room lights out.
Camera on tripod, 3.2 second exposure @ f/8, ISO 100.
Always put the lid back on the storage container and fasten it. This is what may happen if you don't.
Project 365/52...Week 5...Critters
Today our church celebrated a PAID mortgage with a note burning.
Every person attending burned a copy of the mortgage. Soooo very cool and such a blessing!!
This ritual of note burning was on one side and a copy of the mortgage note was on the other side!
Love Parade: ain't no Burningman. I mean, I was at least in a fuzzy hat-- most couldn't even get the gumption to do that. But they all remembered to take were their cameras.
