No idea why this survived in my papers since about 1979, but there it is. A note to our typesetters, probably apologizing for yet another ridiculously late night at The Daily Orange.

Some literature students regard the Cliffs Notes series of study guides as a great help in understanding Shakespeare's work, although some teachers may not agree. All I have to say on this is that the books really stand out when they're lined up together on a bookshelf.
Found art. Don't recall when I did this graphite study of a building on yellow post-it note. It has been a bit due to the smudging of graphite
First it was the oil. Now those yanks are hoarding the beer too!
Sent to me by some unscrupulous American who found our stash of Aussie beer, here in Japan.
He didn't even invite me over to help drink it....just sent me this tormenting photo ;-))
An interesting conversation on a scrap of notebook paper that flew into my office this morning by a stong gust of wind. Lot's of inferences about the involved parties can be drawn by this dialogue. Any suggestions?
Though it looks personal, I couldn't resist sharing this. Enjoy!

Two of my nephews wanted to leave notes for santa. AJ, age 5 or 6 (can't remember exactly), wrote the note on the right. The note on the left was written by his younger brother, Jason. It is a map to the refrigerator so that Sanat can get some milk to drink with the cookies.
Church of St John the Baptist
Monument to John Chapman d.1719. North wall of chancel. Marble.
The black marble inscription is set between Corinthian pilasters supporting a straight entablature. At the top the urn is wrapped in foliage, which also frames the scrolls of the apron below. The small angel on the left looks down the chancel, while his companion mops his tears with a drape. Unusually both are seated. The long English inscription notes that Chapman was a merchant of the parish, concerned with education, who did not live to fulfil his plan for a parish school. However the provision in his will for a schoolmaster to teach ten poor boys from the parish resulted in the founding the village free school that year. This must have been housed in Old School House, on the opposite side of the High Street, independently dated c. 1720 by Pevsner.

Note the leather panniers as well. The panniers need minor repairs, including fixing a broken strap.

“The Ontario Provincial Police say a 10-year-old boy from Beamsville was pronounced dead in hospital after a three-vehicle collision on the QEW in Lincoln.
Emergency services responded to a vehicle collision around 5:30 p.m. on the QEW, eastbound near Tufford Rd.
Police say a grey vehicle was approaching slowing or stopped traffic and crashed into the rear of a white vehicle in the left lane.
This collision resulted in a chain reaction as the white vehicle was pushed forward into another white vehicle directly ahead of it.
As a result of the crash, a 10-year-old boy was extricated by emergency services from the first white vehicle and was taken to a trauma centre where he was pronounced deceased around 9 p.m.
The driver of the first vehicle, a 31-year-old woman from Mississauga was not injured and remained at the scene.
The driver and additional passenger of the second vehicle, a 44-year old woman and a 10-year boy from Beamsville, along with the driver and passenger of the second vehicle, a 37-year-old woman and 10-year-old girl both from Milton, were all taken to hospital with minor injuries.
OPP Sgt. Kerry Schmidt says they are investigating the crash, noting roads were dry and was visibility clear.”
