50 year old surfer - she was making excuses for the length of her board saying "the older we get the longer our boards get."
I'm thinking if you are fifty and look this good and are surfing it does not matter how long the board is no matter what micro-mini sized boards the kids are using (and I noted hers was only 7'8" and remembered that my first "micro short" board was 8'0" when I was 20 years old.
I believe Vesta was a nurse that helped care for Captain Petroni after his cerebral accident. (and she spent 20+ years in the US Navy)
