The seminars were the "emotional growth" aspect of the WWASP programs. They were based on the Lifestream cult seminars. Read more about them here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lifespring
David Gilcrease - former trainer at Lifestream - formed Resource Realizations which provided seminars to the WWASP programs. During the seminars, children were exposed to sleep deprivation, brainwashing techniques, physical and emotional abuse, etc.

For June 12th, 2018, closing in on the second anniversary of the Pulse Nightclub Massacre in Orlando, Florida, there were nationwide protests led by youth to call for better gun regulations and safer schools. The cause became even more urgent in the wake of the Stoneman Douglas School Shooting in Parkland, Florida, on March 7, 2018, and the continued refusal by politicians funded by the National Rifle Association to do anything about gun violence.
As the Pulse had been a nightclub catering to gay men and transgender women of Latino/Latina backgrounds, there was a lot of intersectional advocacy at the protest on behalf of LGBT and people of color communities as well.
I was honored to witness the Los Angeles rally and die-in next to City Hall.
Most of Academy at Ivy Ridge operated without teachers. Students were required to self-study and do tests on the computers which were cut off from the internet. If the students did not self-study or could not pass a test on their own, they would be punished severely. This was a factor in why they could not receive their accreditation from the state of New York.

August 30, 2019 - Day 30 - Journalists Against Detention Camps
Today marks day 30! of a month of actions in the street in front of ICE San Francisco. On this last day of actions led by specific groups and communities, journalists showed up with mics, cameras and speakers to shed neutrality and take a stand.
From the organizers:
"Calling all reporters, writers, photojournalists, videographers, producers, investigators and media makers to take a stand against the inhumane conditions of migrant detention camps and the institutional racism of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) and Customs and Border Patrol (CBP).
As journalists we are expected to remain neutral, unbiased. But we can no longer remain neutral in the face of atrocities committed against asylum seekers and undocumented Americans. It's time to speak out.
Members of the press have been a constant target of the current administration, especially those who cover immigration. Come stand in solidarity with us outside the ICE office in San Francisco.
Everyone is welcome."

Most of the student files were left when the school shut down. Jason Finlinson seemingly made no attempt to properly remove, store, or return these student's records. This includes personal information such as medical histories, social security numbers, birth certificates, journal entries, etc. Since the property is unguarded and unlocked, this is a huge risk to the now-adult former inmates.
