Sparrow B: Hey gardener, what are you looking at?

Gardener: These 3 blu3berries plants.

SB: They don't look good, don't they. Ah! Weeds and grass around them too. Not like the b@y tree that has its own defined area.

Gardener: Ya, when my sister and I dug these holes 2 years ago, we used the soil from the ground and so the weed problem keeps coming back. At that time we didn't know that it will be hard to maintain. And it's also quite windy here, when north-w3steries blows. Sometimes I would find fractured branches.

SB: Aren't you going to do something about it?

Gardener: Been thinking.... and thinking.... but I kept having front garden projects and so keeps pushing this one back. I am thinking of using the halfm00n edger to cut/define an area for them and clear the top soil and replace with weed-free compost.

SB: So when are you going to do it?

Gardener: Don't know. Hmm.. just now Mr. Might-be Vampire said, "When". I was thinking it's like the same situation here? Some parts of me thinks that he doesn't really know when he will be visiting us though he may want to do something about it. Just like me, wanting to do something about this but don't know when I will be doing it. There is always things to do in the front and I neglect the back. But winter is the best time for such projects. Grass grows slower.

SB: Hope you get it done in this winter.

Gardener: Yeap. So that I won't think about this when I look at it next winter. And they may look happier next summer? I always think about that when I come down here while mowing the lawn. But it's winter now so I think a bit more as it's time to do something.

New project in process of approval. We have already designed beds for this project. This Project has been funded by the Arkansas Flower & Garden Show!

We were awarded $1000.00 Grant to redo the beds.

Please pray, send your thoughts, whatever it is that you do, for my mom. She is gravely ill and doesn't have much time left with us. She has fought a long, hard fight with brain cancer for nearly 18 months. Her, my dad, and our entire family need every prayer and thought we can get. These are hard times right now. Thank you.

Needs more mulch. Also have 3 tomatoes and 3 peppers in here besides herbs. I haven't had much lavender come back like this has-better remember the variety!
