I might have gone overboard with the minimalism on this one, so minimalist it’s boring

I sneaked into Coco Chanel's house.

"For sale, needs £1m worth of work:

The only home in Britain that can boast interiors by Coco Chanel"

As the mistress of the Duke of Westminster she was given carte blanche to decorate the house, then owned by the duke.

But now it needs more than £1m of repairs to save it and a new owner is being sought. The deep beige wallpaper is peeling from the walls and the colour co-ordinated cream, beige and green painted walls are fading with the dust.

"Coco Chanel was the last person to decorate this house," said Audrey Graesser, whose grandfather bought the property from the Duke of Westminster in 1928.

"Nobody has touched anything since her and, for almost the past 40 years, the house has been completely empty.

It's now rumoured that Mohammed Al Fayed has bought it!

Okay, so Flickr sharpening ruined this with a capital R-U-I-N-E-D! Ugh, I promise you, it really wasn't that grainy before!!

Ugh! Anyways, I was tagged by the gorgeous DaBOMB diGGity :)

1. I still don't know the formula to make links by heart even though I've used it, like, a hundred times.

2. I always take a looooong time to upload stuff.

3. I still haven't uploaded those film pictures. Grrrrrrrrrr.

4. I'm kinda nervous for horsecamp next week because I won't know anyone...

5. And the last time I rode a horse, it tried to buck me off (which brought me to tears of scaredom)

6. And the time before that the horse ran off with me and I fell off and had a minor concussion and couldn't walk or sit properly for more than a week. The pain lasted for months.

7. That's why I want to go to horse camp, so that next time I'll know how to handle a horse.

8. And because I love horses of course.

9. I like to think that I'm inspiring people with my photography. Or at least make them happy :)

10. I think I scare a lot of boys at my school :) Haha, I mean who wouldn't be afraid of the weird German kid who can make her voice sound like a man and is kinda shy sometimes?

Maslow's hierarchy of needs and the social media that fulfill them

What is luxury?

Meeting all your needs without taxing your resources.

Power?

600 kW and 1050 Nm of tractive force, spread amoung the four wheels. Power is directed to the road from the tractive eMotors. Power to the eMotors comes from the battery systems while in town, up tp 140 kW, for zero emission driving. When it comes to untaxed power, the gas-turbine can produce up to 450 kW peak power, driving an electric generator, feeding direct to the Tractive eMotors, or charging the battery packs. The gas-turbine can also act as a range extender hybrid, the 100 litre tank providing a maximum range of 1,430 km in conjunction with the electric battery pack.

Silence.

When in all-electric mode the powertrain is near silent. In both electric and gas turbine modes, the powertrain produces almost no vibrations to the occupants within the cabin.

Emissions.

Although the burning of fossil fuels produces CO2, the Gas-Turbine ccombustion process decreases the production of Nitrogen compounds, Carbon Monoxide and other pollutants. On the US emission drive cycle, the car is rated at 92 eMPG equivalent.

These are the reasons the Ralston Tigre is known as the 'Road Jet'.

Comfort.

Luxury is Silence, Pace and Space. The fully appointed interior is equipped with luxury appointments including heated and cooled seats with massage function, electro-chromatic glass roof, and full Telematics and Communication. The full-sized Hardtop Coupe body provides ample comfort for four passengers. And the performance speaks for itself.

Bearing the mark of the 'X', The Ralston Tigre - IV is not the first car to wear the hallowed Ralston coat-of-arms. Previous vehicles had been built in ultra-exclusive volumes for the Ralston family's private vehicles. Due for introduction in 2015, the Tigre will headline a new marque of low-volume exclusivity for the discerning client. The Coupe-Hardtop will be joined by other styles of vehicles of distinction, sharing it's unique Gas-Turbine-Electric Hybrid powertrain.

My Kaori (Papin) still needs a wig! None of the wigs I have suit her, so she's still wigless :(

My sister and I have 3 pullips in total, one of them is hers and the other two are mine. We share all the pullip stuff. I pay most of it, but the sometimes helps paying too. Her pullip wears clothes I make for her, so we're a real team ^^

My sisters' birthday is coming soon, so my parents and I secretly bought 2 second hand pullips for her. TWO! Pullip Xiao Fan and pullip Veritas are coming in soon.

I already looked up wigs for them. We don't need to buy them any time soon, so that's why I called this wishlish '13/'14.

They will also need obitsu's in the future.

1. I want to order this Leekeworld wig for Kaori, which her previous owner had for her too and I believe it is perfect for her, I really love it. It's the 'LR-102_E' wig and I want it in the Pink Cocktail colour.

2. I've looked for wigs for pullip Xiao Fan and this is one of them I really like. It's the 'LR-030_E'. I think the Sandy Brown colour fits her really well.

3. I also looked for wigs for pullip Veritas. I really like this one. 'W031_E' in Choco Brown colour.

4. Kaori is my only flesh tone girl. She doesn't have extra hands yet like my white skin girls have, so I'll need to order her some exra hands from Think Pink soon.

5/6. Whenever Think Pink has more obitsu's in stock we'll buy some for Veritas and Xiao Fan. I believe they both suit a white skin body very well. I'd like Xiao Fan and Veritas to have different bust sizes, so we'll probably order an M-size and an S.

7/8/9. Since I'm into making pullip clothes myself these weeks, I decided not to spend my money on buying clothes. But I do really like the Coolcat shoes, since I can't make shoes myself..

Also the eyechips of Kaori are in a very bad condition, so she'll need new ones. I will probably buy them from Coolcat, even though I'm not sure if I really like them. If I buy a pair, I will buy smooth ones, because I don't like the lined eye chips.

My sister does really like the Coolcat clothes, so we might buy a few. Like the dress from the picture and leggings which I can't make myself (yet).

Historically, the village has several special features, including Het Posthuys (the Post House), Rhodes' Cottage and the site of the Battle of Muizenberg.

Rhodes' Cottage is a small house on the seafront that Cecil Rhodes bought as a holiday cottage and this was where he died in 1902. The house is preserved as a museum dedicated to Rhodes' life and is open to the public.

Het Posthuys is one of the oldest buildings in South Africa,[2] dating to circa 1742. It was built by the Dutch East India Company (Vereenigde Oost-Indische Compagnie or VOC) as a toll-house to levy a tax on farmers passing by to sell their produce to ships lying in Simon's Bay. One of the early postholders was Sergeant Muys (meaning "mouse"), from whom Muizenberg (formerly Muysenbergh and Muys Zijn Bergh (Muys' mountain) before that) gets its name. After a varied career as a police station, stables, brothel, hotel and private house the building was identified for what it was in the 1980s and restored with funds from Anglo American Corporation. The house is cared for by the Muizenberg Historical Conservation Society and contains a small collection of photos and items of interest relating to early days in Muizenberg. It is open to the public.

The Battle of Muizenberg was a small but significant military affair that began in June 1795 and ended three months later with the (first) British occupation of the Cape. Thus began the period (briefly interrupted from 1804 to 1806) of British control of the Cape, and subsequently much of Southern Africa. The historical remnant of the Battle of Muizenberg is a site on the hillside overlooking False Bay that holds the remains of a defensive fort started by the Dutch in 1795 and expanded by the British from 1796 onwards.

The Zandvlei estuary enters the ocean in Muizenberg. The estuary is one of the most important estuaries for fish spawning on the coastline and is home to the Imperial Yacht Club and Peninsula Canoe Club.

Muizenberg houses one of the False Bay College campuses in the Cinnabar Building, a high-rise apartment tower. The college, a Public Further Education and Training Institution (FET), was established in September 2002 when the South Peninsula College (established 1970) and the Westlake College (established 1954) were merged. Muizenberg is also home to the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), a pan-African centre for education and research in mathematical sciences.

See the warm, gooey brownie covered with melting ice cream, and topped with strawberry sauce? Mmmmmm....

The Cullman County Sheriff's Office kicked off their 2016 Jimmy Arrington Rodeo experience on Thursday morning with over 1,000 special needs children from across Cullman County in attendance.

Special needs students from County, City, private and church schools plus representatives from Cullman Child Development Center and clients from the Margaret Jean Jones Center arrived around 9 am at the Cullman County Agricultural Trade Center. Approximately, 400 teachers and volunteers along with 40 deputies and command staff were also on scene.

The students were entertained non-stop by Dusty the rodeo clown and Woody from 'A Toy Story'. The children got the opportunity to participate in traditional competitive rodeo events such as barrel racing, bronco riding, calf roping, steer wrestling and team roping.

The children also got to interact with real-life cowboys/cowgirls and other rodeo stars such as 2016 Rodeo Queen, Mary Ashley Rohrscheib. After being the Queen of last year's rodeo, Rohrscheib has amassed a huge following of starry-eyed fans and autograph seeking devotees among the special needs students.

For many, the highlight of the special needs rodeo was the hay rides conducted inside the arena. Those rides were originally planned for outdoors. However, due to frigid temperatures ushered in by a Thursday cold front, the hay ride action was forced indoors.

Sheriff's deputies and other staff members assisted students who required guidance entering and exiting the hay trailers and the red dirt arena floor.

Cullman County Sheriff Matt Gentry was often the central figure in many aspects of the event:

"Our special needs portion of the Rodeo is the heart of the Jimmy Arrington Rodeo. With over one thousand children and at least 400 or so volunteers and teachers, the event has come off almost exactly as planned. When you see a few deputies with tears in their eyes, you know everyone is emotionally touched in a very positive way. This Rodeo is often the highlight of many of these kid's year. Lots of these kids would never experience a rodeo if the Sheriff's Office did not fully support of it. Seeing the joy, wonder, and excitement in these special needs kids faces is huge."

Proceeds from the rodeo go toward local city and county Cullman schools with special needs students. Last year’s rodeo, netted $500 each to 31 Cullman area schools. That is, $15,500 total, and established a $5,000 scholarship to pay for one year at Wallace State Community College for two students studying criminal justice."

Proceeds also fund events like the Sheriff’s Citizens Academy, firearms training classes and purchasing tablet computers for all 11 school resource officers.

The sheriff’s rodeo began in 1998 under the direction of former Cullman County Sheriff Tyler Roden. The late Jimmy Arrington was a sheriff’s investigator with 27-year invested in the department. Arrington was seminal in starting and then directing the rodeo. Arrington died in 2006 from leukemia, the Sheriff’s Office named this rodeo in honor his memory.
