The view from McCall Point was AMAZING, plus there were wildflowers everywhere. It was spectacular. This is looking west to Mt. Hood. (The little vertical smudge of white below the base of the mountain was smoke from a fire, probably someone's backyard burn.)

On occasion, my Flickr friends, I am going to post scanned images from a weeklong Nature Conservancy trip I took in February 1991 to the Peruvian Amazon. Our tour group stayed at Explorama Lodge, 50 miles down the Amazon River from Iquitos, and Explorama Camp, 95 miles from Iquitos.
