Caught an Iridium Satellite Flare over Murfreesboro just after sunset this evening.

This is my first flare capture on camera. I actually only caught half the event, too busy trying to find it in the sky. Should be more of a gradient end to end.

Next time I'd like to try and zoom a bit, now that I'll have a better idea of positioning in the sky.

Impressed it rendered as well as it did. That's shooting North into the city lights of Murfreesboro.

Jamie's Harley Davidson and Kelly's Yamaha 250. Kelly just bought the Yamaha, but doesn't yet have a motorcycle license or know how to drive it. The bike is low enough that she can sit on it and still get her feet on the ground. Since taking this picture, Kelly has taken a motorcycle riding safety course and will work on getting her license in the spring. In the meantime, Jamie is waiting for some new rear view mirrors he ordered to mount on her bike.

We need more to make the cucumbers and tomatoes and grass and flowers. Looks like we got over 2 inches of rain Early Sunday morning.

Got this shot as the sun was sinking below the horizon. The fact that it was a beautiful bride and groom didn't hurt.

A typical Murfreesboro neighborhood. McMansions as far as the eye can see. This is really typical of developments on the fringe of metro Nashville. Nice houses and all, but surely we can do better planning than this? I would hope that we can atleast!
