I transplanted the two don juan roses from the North arbor and replaced them with two Mandevillas. These are tendrils that began wrapping themselves aroudn their new home within hours.

As you may have heard, Neo-Nazis will be rallying on the 28th at the historic Square in Murfreesboro, TN.

 

Where I live and grew up.

 

A good many local businesses will be closed that day.

 

I have been photographing this town for ~20 years, so I’ll be there Saturday, camera in hand, to see what happens.

Irene Hamilton Searcy, Carol Adams, Jewel Hamilton Adams, Belle Hamilton McClerkin, and Marie Hamilton DuBose. Irene, Jewel, Belle, and Marie are my double first cousins. Carol is Jewel's daugher.

Vince snapped this of me in the hammock earlier tonight. We call this "triple t" - twilight tarry time. A "Triple t" fist bump is the new sandwich.

Mr. & Mrs. Murray speak to the scholarship recipients.

Here is today's batch of recycling. Vince found out Sam's now takes all kinds of recycling, including cardboard, glass and paper. That's going to dramatically reduce the amount of our wastes that enter the Middle Point Landfill.

 

Today's batch:

23 lbs of cardboard

6lbs of plastic

3 lbs of tin

1 lbs of aluminum

On NW Broad St. (U.S. 41 / 70) The horse seems a little misplaced to me, but it's ok.

No lurking about under the Thompson Lane bridge, now. God only knows what might happen.
