My first lolita photoshoot project for this year.
The 2 Yongnuo YN460 flashes were set to bare mode while the Nissin Di622 has a Shoot Through Umbrella on it, alternate with Canon 580 EXII via Pocket Wizards and PT - 04 wireless triggers. We placed the 3 speedlights in a triangular formation.

Вот о чём я хотел написать. А именно о проблеме бездомных животных в Таиланде.
Лишь немногое задумываются над их тяжелой судьбой и страданиями. Смерть от бешества, чумки, а так же все возможных инфекций и воспалений и самого распространенного в Таиланде заболевания животных-чесотка, ужасна и очень мучительна. Лечение чесотки у собак занимает от 1 до 12 месяцев, все зависит от вида чесотки и состояния пациента. Используются специальные мази, лекарства, а так же капельницы, чтобы уменьшить зуд и расчесываение. Но животное можно спасти и оно будет здоровым и веселым питомцем. При всем этом они еще и размножаются, пополняя ряды таких же больных созданий. А правительству, как я понял, все равно на то что происходит, нет программ по лечению, стерелизации или вакцинации. Животных бросают на произвол судьбы, искалеченными, голодными и больными.
🇹🇭Сейчас волонтеры по всей стране создаются благотворительные организации, которые занимаются спасением бездомных животных, а так же поиском настоящих любящих хозяев, вакцинацией и стерелизацией. Вот адреса нескольких carefordogs.org, soidog.org.
❤️Не оставайтесь равнодушными во время своих посещений Таиланда! Вы можете помочь кормами, которые всегда можно принести в данные вольеры, а так же средствами или волонтерской помощью. Для нашей семьи это уже стало обыденной традицией, когда выпадает свободное время. Одна прививка от бешенства или чумки стоит 100 бат, а это спасает от заражения не одно животное, а так же далает их жизнь счастливой. Вы так же можете проспонсировать собаку или кошку из вольера, перечисляя небольшие средства на ее содержания, котрые не привысят стоимости 3 ваших обедов. Если вы живете в Таиланде, то можно взять себе в вольерах в качестве верного друга одного из их питомцев, который станет еще и защитником дома от змей и воров!

The problem of stray animals in Thailand.
Few reflect on their plight and suffering. Death from felicity, distemper, as well as all possible infections and inflammations and the most common animal disease in Thailand, scabies, is terrible and very painful. Treatment of scabies in dogs takes from 1 to 12 months, it all depends on the type of scabies and the patient's condition. Special ointments, medicines, and droppers are used to reduce itching and scratching. But the animal can be saved and it will be a healthy and fun pet. With all this, they also multiply, replenishing the ranks of the same sick creatures. And the government, as I understand it, doesn’t care what happens, there are no programs for treatment, sterilization or vaccination. Animals are left to fend for themselves, crippled, hungry and sick.
🇹🇭Now, volunteers across the country are creating charitable organizations that are engaged in the rescue of stray animals, as well as the search for real loving owners, vaccination and sterilization. Here are the addresses of several carefordogs.org, soidog.org.
❤️ Do not be indifferent during your visits to Thailand! You can help feeds that can always be brought to these enclosures, as well as by means or volunteer help. For our family, this has already become an everyday tradition when free time falls out. One vaccination against rabies or distemper costs 100 baht, and this saves more than one animal from infection, and also makes their lives happy. You can also sponsor a dog or a cat from an open-air cage, transferring small funds for its maintenance, which will not increase the cost of 3 of your meals. If you live in Thailand, you can take yourself in the cages as a faithful friend of one of their pets, who will also become a protector of the house from snakes and thieves!
Now there's so many Tardis...Tardis's...Tardi...still not sure what the plural of tardis is. I may have to go back and rewatch all the episodes just to see if they ever mention it. There's not that many episodes, 700 at the most, maybe 800. They're bound to have said at one point.
Maybe in the 50th anniversary episode when all those Tardis were flying about Gallifrey, you know the bit.
Yeah that was cool.

Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch swears in the Army's newest recruits Feb. 11 at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo in San Antonio, Texas.
SAN ANTONIO, Texas--A pyrotechnical light show, blaring rock music and crowd full of cowboy hats aren't the typical marks of a swearing-in ceremony, but for 46 of the Army's newest recruits, the rodeo highlighted the beginning of their military careers and the ride of their lives.
Friday, Feb. 11 was Military Appreciation Night at the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo, and for the seventh year in a row, an enlistment ceremony of new recruits kicked off the event. Lt. Gen. Rick Lynch, commanding general of the U.S. Army Installation Management Command, which is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, presided over this year's ceremony.
Following a showcase of the rodeo's prized palomino horses, the recruits marched onto the floor in formation and awaited orders. Lynch and IMCOM Command Sgt. Maj. Neil Ciotola rode out into the arena on horseback and addressed the recruits.
"For all you youngsters, you know how much I love you," Lynch said before leading the Armed Forces Oath of Enlistment. "I'm humbled to be in your presence." He led the recruits in reciting the oath, and with that, they were off to the rodeo.
Lynch and Ciotola, who both gained experience riding horses during their service in the First Cavalry Division at Ft. Hood, spent an hour visiting with the recruits and their Families before the ceremony.
"We wanted to combine the patriotic tenor of San Antonio with bringing in our new recruits. It was important enough to Lt. Gen. Lynch and Command Sgt. Maj. Ciotola to meet with and inspire the new recruits," said Maggie Brewster, IMCOM community relations officer, who coordinated the ceremony. "And the rodeo crowd is pretty all-American."
Though the recruits have already taken an oath at their respective Military Entrance Processing Stations, they are considered "future soldiers" who may change their minds and choose not to pursue a military career. Ceremonies such as the rodeo enlistment serve to reinforce their commitment, said Capt. Jake Weber, operations officer for the U.S. Army San Antonio Recruiting Battalion.
"To commit in front of 16,000 people is a pretty awesome experience, and to have somebody like Lt. Gen. Lynch and Command Sgt. Maj. Ciotola speak at and perform the ceremony is very powerful," he said. "I had open ears, too, when they were speaking."
The event sold out to 16,500 ticketholders, including 1,500 servicemembers and their Families. Every Friday night, the rodeo offers free admission to military personnel and their Families as thanks for their service and to bolster the relationship between the military and the San Antonio community.
"Lt. Gen. Lynch and his office reached out to us to build and strengthen that relationship, and that's something we're going to continue to build on," said Duane Heady, chairman of the Rodeo Ticket Committee. "This is the best military participation we've had, to my mind."
In addition to Military Appreciation Night and the enlistment ceremony, the rodeo treats wounded and injured warriors and their guests to the Rodeo Star Experience, which includes private dining and special front-row tickets to the rodeo and concert. This year, they were also outfitted in true cowboy fashion with the same official belt buckle designed for rodeo winners, a shirt donated by Wrangler and a cowboy hat from the rodeo.
"We have a special place in our hearts for wounded servicemen and women," Heady said. "We do our part to make sure that we know we appreciate their service as well as their Families. The reception of that has been overwhelming."
The rodeo is sponsored by the Army Recruiting Command and in turn reaches out to high school technology students interested in joining the military, Fisher House residents and recent graduates of training programs at surrounding installations.
"San Antonio has been referred to Military City, U.S.A. With all the current bases in operation, the military is so much a part of our lives, even those of us who are civilian," Heady said. "It's a large part of what we do as a city; it's who we are. Having their presence here, as with Lt. Gen. Lynch ... is a vibrant part of our show."
