A game of bowling was organised by Hannah and her sister for this evening. It had a few weird moments and I don't think its intended aim was acheived, but I still had a lot of fun. I actually won a game of bowling for the first time ever, though I don't think anybody was trying very hard by then. And I played Laser Quest for the first time, too, though it turns out I'm terrible at it, and that I'm not very fit. Hannah wiped the floor with me.

These soft toys were all obtained almost obsessively by Mary's boyfriend from one of those claw machines. I think they worked out at something between 50p and £1 each...

The sprockets at the end of the film tore, so the last few frames overlapped. The ovoid feature is from the original photo layer.

Since beginning classes in August, 80 first year medical students at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine have been training as emergency medical technicians, working shifts on North Shore-LIJ ambulances and responding to 911 calls. Their training culminated recently in a Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) conducted at the FDNY Training Center at Randall’s Island. Students were expected to provide emergency care during several different emergency exercises, which were all followed by full debriefing.

The MCI day was coordinated by the Fire Department of the City of New York at the department’s Training Academy on Randall’s Island, where more than 2,000 fire fighters and EMS personnel are trained each year.

They don't play well together.

I had some time on my hands today so I thought I'd mess around a little. They are both the same girl. Paula made her comment before I posted this, so don't think that she just commented without reading this.

The girl had no idea what I was doing when I took the pictures. She likes getting her picture taken and just did what I asked her to do. When she saw the end product she said, "THAT'S WEIRD!"

Clematis 'Killian Donahue'

Description: The early flowers open ruby red at the center of the flower fading to brilliant fuchsia and then orchid color at the edge of each petal. It almost appears as two clematis planted together since two varying flowers bloom at the same time. Its dancing white anthers are burgundy tipped.

I played around with in-camera multiple exposures again... It's kind of cool... until you notice that Vito's chest on the left is totally see through and you are actually looking at beach, not white fur. LOL

Each of the strollers in this photo holds four children... unfortunately, I didn't have my camera ready until they were far down the sidewalk.
