Multiple sclerosis is just a rather unknown disease, because it doesn’t affect many people. However, multiple sclerosis is just a quite difficult medical condition. Associated with because once you suffer with multiple sclerosis, the patches of myelin or the fibres of one’s nerves...
The rain is still coming down, hard enough that I'm not taking my camera out in the rain. This is from a few weeks ago, when I was trying to get a fresh view of these flowers.
Interesting (but maybe only to me): I prefer this image in its smaller size. I could see these being on the backs of a deck of cards. In the larger size? It's OK, but you lose some of the patterns caused by the abstraction.

Recently the idea of travelling faster than the speed of light has me thinking about building an Alcubierre Drive.
I’m fortunate that I live in Texas where no one bothers you. This leaves me pretty much free to experiment building radioactive explosive energy structures in my man-cave garage.
By using dark energy for acceleration to expand the fabric of space-time behind my ship while also shrinking space-time in front, I can travel faster than the speed of light without upsetting professor Einstein.
Because funding is slow I have been using Dark Beer as a substitute for Dark Energy. Needless to say my first tests are proving a bit difficult. I feel I’m very close to a major breakthrough; just need more Dark Beer for propulsion. When this thing takes off I will be able to photograph the future while still being in the past and also the present.
This was an 'outtake' in the 'Shock Therapy' tries, but I loved how my hand is lit up, so I had to do something with it.

Under Secretary Lindberg and Deputy Administrator Haagert were in South Dakota to discuss current priorities, long-term goals, and the work underway in agricultural production across the U.S. USDA Media by Gail Gullickson.
I didn't have any brown paint so DT will have to do.
Also I was looking at Ssantha's photostream and saw his BAR carrying handel. I looked in a weapons book and the BAR's carrying handle actually faced the other way and was more straight then curved. This could just be a variation and there could be multiple BAR handle designs.
This is my first multiple-exposure shot like this... It was simple to do in Photoshop, and it came out pretty nice. Thank you for your awesome continuous shooting mode, 40D!
I messed with the masking a little so not any one of the Daves is actually completely in the foreground. I also made sure Dave's face was showing on all of the shots, even if it should really be behind another Dave.
Simulating multiple exposures on a DLSR. First with the flash on and then at various focal lengths with the shutter open.
Preping for a senior photo shoot, I wanted to try creating a different senior photo. Took my 3 year old daughter out for a multiple capture session.
Since beginning classes in August, 80 first year medical students at the Hofstra North Shore-LIJ School of Medicine have been training as emergency medical technicians, working shifts on North Shore-LIJ ambulances and responding to 911 calls. Their training culminated recently in a Multiple Casualty Incident (MCI) conducted at the FDNY Training Center at Randall’s Island. Students were expected to provide emergency care during several different emergency exercises, which were all followed by full debriefing.
The MCI day was coordinated by the Fire Department of the City of New York at the department’s Training Academy on Randall’s Island, where more than 2,000 fire fighters and EMS personnel are trained each year.

I hadn't taken a face photo like this for a while. The dexamethasone (steroid) I'm weekly taking as part of my Velcade chemo treatment to help lower my Multiple Myeloma (cancer) levels is adding fat to my face. I thought it was important to document this.
This photograph was taken on the 19th May 2015. The picture shows a diesel multiple unit [or DMU] operated by Northern Rail on the Southport to Manchester Victoria run. I captured this scene as the train is slowing to stop at Appley Bridge Railway Station...I was a bit lucky that a lorry was crossing the bridge at the same moment which gives the picture more interest.
