2008-02-14, my place, Paris.
a bit of shopping, a bit of everything :
1 CD : Hopper - Deer Girl. Hopper is the best french rock band I know (at least live, I haven't listened to the cd yet )
1 DVD : Nirvana - unplugged in new york : this music has followed me for so long, started to listen seriously to music with nirvana, started to play guitar with those songs. I don't listen to it so often but every time it's kinda remembering what it's all about, what kind of music I wanted to do, bashing a few chords with raw power and strange, beautiful lyrics ripped from the heart and pain
1 video game : Final Fantasy Revenant Wings on DS : it's a present but I'm dying to play this game :(. Luckily i'm on advance wars right now
1 book : a bruxelles guide : that's where I'm going to be this week end. I'm more the "wander randomly" type but this time I have a few days, some time on my own and memory cards to fill :)
The Multi table has a sleek linear design lending a minimalist complement from the hype and modern dining area to the creative working space. Available in different configurations from legs to tabletops, the Multi could not be named differently for its flexibility is only limited by your creativity.
Another colorful mountain view.

Multi-flashes. This is the result of playing with multiple flashes - all off-camera. The primary lighting is from my ringflash held off to the right side. Backlighting from a diffused slave flash head, and finally lighting from the left from bounced light from a third flash. The conclusion - I have a lot to learn about studio lighting !

This is a so called "multi flash sync" - the idea and pcb are from akeeh @ Flickr.
You are able to attach 4 flashes to trigger them all at the same time (when pressing the shutter on the camera).
See DIY multi flash sync for more information.
I also think she was a badass military woman in a second life. She keeps the house together with such a firm, structured hand that I am tempted to call her Sergeant Mama G.

This is Phineas Hubbard Hall and I had no idea that the International Order of Odd Fellows was still a going concern. Good on them.

(The Magic Flute is entirely opaque to me. I'm not ashamed of that.)
There’s a serious number of bikes in Amsterdam. So many actually that the main train station has a number of bike parking facilities. You read correctly "a number", this is just one of them, although one of the most impressive. (Best viewed in original size. And forgive me the break in the middle, it's due to my cheap stitching skills.)
