Edit Mode: Change the brush size by squeezing your thumb and forefingers closer or further away on the screen (“zoom in/out”). Change the pull strength by dragging the slider. Touch to sculpt!
Touch the Info Button (lower right hand corner, next to slider and – the telltale sign of my penuriousness – “trial version” watermark) at any time to toggle a quick Help Overlay.
Touch the Disk button to Save. (A URL containing the .obj pops up. Touch hold and cut the text then load it up in your browser to download the Wavefront obj file for usage in other 3d modeling programs or games!)
Touch a particular Snap Button to Save or Load an intermediate state (this session only).
Touch the Grid/Gradient button to toggle between two materials.
Touch the Edit/View (Camera Move/Camera Pen) buttons to toggle between View and Edit modes. (You begin in Edit mode.)
View Mode: Scale the clay by squeezing your thumb and forefingers closer or further away on the screen (“zoom in/out”). Rotate the clay by touch-dragging it.
Menu: New to summon a new clay ball. Load to load the 8 most recent save’s.
All data is saved “in the cloud” on clayar servers. Depending on network traffic, there may be some delay between Save and Load features. Editing and Viewing a file are local operations, which will depend on your mobile device’s capabilities. If you encounter extremely jagged vertices, try saving onto a few other Snap Buttons and loading from those.

Part six of my iPod collecting adventure arrived this week in the form of the iPod Nano 6th Generation 8GB which I was lucky enough to receive as an early birthday present this week. It was purchased from the new Covent Garden Apple Store which was an incredible retail environment that has been lovingly restored and provided a great place to show off all of the new Apple designs.
Once I was dragged away from the 11.6" MacBook Air (kicking and screaming) I eventually decided on the 8GB Nano, for me to try to use as a watch, but mainly to be used when running. The hardware is amazingly small, so small that it really takes you by surprise when you see it in the flesh for the first time. The multi-touch display, although small, is amazingly responsive and the whole experience is brilliant.

iPhone is extremely thin (only 11.6 millimeters thick) but wider and longer than many comparable devices. The display area is a 3.5-inch wide screen multi-touch interface with unusually high resolution (160 pixels per inch). Unlike most other smartphones, iPhone does not use a hardware keyboard or a stylus. To navigate, a user uses multiple taps and drags to navigate through a mobile version of Apple's OS X operating system. Like iPod, iPhone synchronizes data with a user's personal computer, using iTunes as a client software and Apple's proprietary USB port. iPhone is compatible with Microsoft's Windows operating systems, including Vista.
iPhone's networking features include:

iPhone comes preloaded with a suite of media management software and communications software, including iTunes, the Safari Web browser and iPhoto. iPhoto may be used in combination with the 2 megapixel camera on the back of the device. Google's search and mapping services are fully integrated, including the ability to initiate phone calls from within Google Maps. Users can also view YouTube videos on the device, along with Microsoft Office documents and most imaging formats, including .JPEG, .GIF and .TIFF. A partnership with Yahoo allows iPhone users to send and receive rich HTML email. Other IMAP or POP3 e-mail services are integrated as well, along with webmail access in the browser.
While iPhone was released under an exclusive two-year partnership with AT&T Wireless, it took less than three months for hackers working in concert worldwide to unlock the device for use on any GSM network, though the process involved a level of technical sophistication well beyond the consumer level.

There are ten multi touch colour indexed 'butterfly' tables in Exploration Lab 2 in the Forum. Each table is complemented by a wall mounted screen allowing everyone in the room the opportuntity to see live content on all tables.

Part six of my iPod collecting adventure arrived this week in the form of the iPod Nano 6th Generation 8GB which I was lucky enough to receive as an early birthday present this week. It was purchased from the new Covent Garden Apple Store which was an incredible retail environment that has been lovingly restored and provided a great place to show off all of the new Apple designs.
Once I was dragged away from the 11.6" MacBook Air (kicking and screaming) I eventually decided on the 8GB Nano, for me to try to use as a watch, but mainly to be used when running. The hardware is amazingly small, so small that it really takes you by surprise when you see it in the flesh for the first time. The multi-touch display, although small, is amazingly responsive and the whole experience is brilliant.
I will be writing a full review for my personal blog at jonhume.co.uk but for now enjoy the unboxing photos.

What you are looking at right now, is one of my favorite pieces of technology, that I have. This MacBook Pro had changed the way I take computing in many forms, and how the simplicity of it, can even par up to Windows, and myself I was a major WINDOWS fanboy, but I've changed. I take both brands to their advantages and their cons, I use both of them on a daily basis. I prefer a OS X for laptops, and Windows for a desktop, weird huh? The only thing I really switched to Mac for laptops is for... reliability (I had 5 laptops, before I came to a decision before buying a Mac, all of them broke in 1 year), sleek design, and the main thing is the multi-touch gestures; the gestures are just simply something now I can't live without, I can just do everything that I need just with gestures, from changing a song, to creating a new folder. Windows has its pros too, everyone knows how to use windows, multi-program compatibly, and the best thing is simply easier to diagnose problems (well my laptops break due to internals, cheap parts, and cheap brands). Well that's my rant on windows or osx, and see ya tomorrow for the next pic. And remember, its Friday tomorrow; let's make it good!
