On a rainy day at the dog park this dog was loving the huge mud puddles that had formed. He was rolling in them and jumping around having a great time. I wish it was sharper but I do love the movement.

June 1, 2018 - We took a drive through "Native Iceland" which was a stand of birch trees. Here you can see Gudrun opening the gate so our bus can continue on our journey to "black castles" lava formations at Dimmuborgir.

Unusual and delicious cocktails were poured by New Deal Distillery. Although most famous for their vodkas, New Deal showcased their exceptional No. 3 Gin and Mudpuddle, a bitter chocolate spirit made with organic, fair-trade cocao nibs. Here Emily Prosch tends bar! www.newdealdistillery.com

I love reflections - and last night on our walk the clouds were at our feet. My husband was in more of a hurry to walk the dog --> than to take the time to be fascinated by the spectacle at our feet. I ignored him - kept shooting pictures - and I happy with the outcome. One must stop to smell the roses - so to speak!

I like the contrast in textures here - with the rough mud and the smooth water reflecting the fluffy clouds!
