This is a 1:16 scale model of M-ATV MRAP vehicle, featuring a set of Electronic Equipment and a replica of the M153 "CROWS" Remote Weapon Station. It is built for trade shows, exhibits and presentations and further promoting our line of trade show models in 1:16 scale.

In order to reduce the model's cost we used a pre-fabricated replica of a base M-ATV, which we upgraded and reinforced so it could withstand a stress of often travels and handling. A standard cargo compartment was modified to accommodate the equipment. The equipment and the Weapon Station were designed in 3D software and produced by rapid prototyping out of increased durability plastics. The model was assembled and finished manually, mounted on a black painted composite base with a clear protective cover and packed in a military grade Pelican transit case with a customized foam lining.

The model was appreciated for its quality, accuracy, high level of details and speedy production. Shortly after submission the model traveled to its first trade show, the 2019 IDEX in Abu Dhabi, where it received recognition and most positive feedback.

This is a 1:16 scale model of M-ATV MRAP vehicle, customized according to our customer's requirements. This model is meant for trade shows and presentations, therefore it produced from high durability plastic, metal and reinforced with metal and carbon fiber.

This model was designed in 3D software based on the earlier 3D models of the 1:8 scale models of the M-ATV MRAPs. The customized enclosure/cargo compartment was produced by rapid prototyping. In order to reduce the model's cost we used a pre-producted replica of a base M-ATV, which we upgraded and adopted to accommodate this custom enclosure and accompanying components. The model was assembled and finished manually.

The model is mounted on a mahogany base with a clear protective cover. It is packed in a military grade Pelican transit case with a customized foam lining.

The model was appreciated by the customer for its quality, accuracy and high level of details. In a week after submission the model headed to its first trade show.

Crew is 2, plus 4 passengers (just like the real 4 wheeled variant. :) The two side doors and the two back doors open, as well as all four storage bins and the two hatches on the top. The [ hood / bonnet ] does not open, however the engine is there (I promise!) and access to it is quite easy.

Sergeant Major Joseph Roberts assumed the responsibility as the senior non-commissioned officer for the Army Field Support Battalion Kandahar, 401st AFSB, in a change of responsibility ceremony at battalion headquarters Aug. 27.

About the 401st:

The 401st Army field Support Brigade provides Soldiers, Sailors, Airman, and Marines, the tools and resources necessary to complete the mission. If they shoot, drive it, fly it, wear it, eat it or communicate with it, the 401st helps provide it. The brigade assists coalition partners with many of their logistical and sustainment needs. The brigade also handles the responsible disposition of equipment in Afghanistan to support evolving missions. We are the single link between Warfighters in the field, and working through Army Sustainment Command, we leverage Army Materiel Command’s worldwide Materiel Enterprise to develop, deliver, and sustain materiel to ensure a dominant joint force for the U.S. and our Allies.

...and still the best.

Using my truck, one of the original MRAP vehicles, to tow another vehicle out of an irrigation canal, known locally as a "wadi". This was the 4th time that day the we had to "assist" the same vehicle over the steep sides of a canal. I'm pretty fond of my old truck.

Kibbutz Sasa saves the lives of countless American troops with its advanced armor technologies. Ambassador Shapiro saw this first hand on January 30 when he visited the Plasan factory in northern Galilee. The Ambassador saw the full range of products, from reactive armor, to purpose built vehicles, to body armor. Plasan has delivered more than 8,000 armor kits to U.S units on active duty.

Israel is a world leader in armor technology and the Ambassador expressed his gratitude for the dedication to quality expressed at Plasan.

Nestled in the forested hills of northern Israel, Kibbutz Sasa does more than just forge armor, they also forge connections. Their unique theater program called Bereshit l'Shalom brings young people together from all sectors of Israeli society. Jews, Arabs, Druze, or Circassian, all use the art of theater and dance to express the importance of working across society's boundaries to interact with others based on similarities, not differences. This successful program has performed throughout Israel and Europe.

I updated the design of my 8-wheel MRAP, so here it is. Better gun; shorter length; lower profile and fewer wheels (with the addition of a shock absorbing suspension system in front wheels for an exceptionally smooth ride). More photos to come. Sorry, this photo kinda sucks.

JMTC Commander Col. Bryan L. Rudacille (center) assisted by Training Support System (TSS) Division Chief for TSAE, Mr. Mark Mann,(second from left), cuts the ribbon clearing the way and officially opening the JMTC's new Driver's Training complex on the Grafenwoehr Training Area in Germany, 4 October, 2012.

The Joint Multinational Training Command’s Training Support Activity Europe, also known as TSAE, created the state-of-the-art advanced Driver’s Training complex, spread over a 7.6 km area, and consisting of a sequence of eleven obstacles designed to train Soldiers navigating the complex in a variety of U.S. and multi-national military vehicles, from the common High Mobility Multipurpose Wheeled Vehicle, better known as the HMMWV, to U.S. and NATO European model tanks. Each of the eleven obstacles replicates the dangers and challenges Soldiers, Marines and Airmen encounter when driving in diverse battlefield environments. The complex, a TSAE project, was brought in on time and on budget and included many improvements not originally conceived at the project's conception. For more photos of the complex see JMTC's flickr set "JMTC’s new Driver’s Training Complex goes into high gear." (Photo by Michael Beaton, JMTC PAO / Released).
