September 2020 was when W17 gave up the ghost. A fire caused by a faulty alternator destroyed the bus in a matter of minutes.
It is seen here in the yard on the morning after the fateful blaze.

Numbered 21201 when with Stagecoach, it will take the registration W17MPT prior to entering service here, that registration previously being carried by a former East Yorkshire ALX300 bodied Volvo B10BLE.
There was a grain train coming down the Joe behind him, and since I had made it this far, I figured I'd make my way along River Road to find a shot.
I came up on a few spots but kept going, hoping there would be something better. Before I knew it, however, I found myself in Parkville, and with fencing along the tracks that gets in the way of the shot, I instead ran up to this old MoPac caboose I spotted and shot him going past.
Guess it was a caboose kind of day.
