“The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.”

People come on and do it right
Shake your behinds like a dynamite
Chuck all your worries and toss your thighs
To be tame in a pain when you realize.....Uh
You gotta move
You gotta move
Oohh you gotta move
OohhPeople gotta move
You gotta move
Shake all your brains and pump your heart
Show all the world what you are
You come on for right, you come on for wrong, but you come on for zeal
'cause the tones of your bones makes you feel
You gotta groove
You gotta groove
No No No You gotta groove
People gotta move
You gotta move
You gotta move
No No No You gotta move
Yeah people gotta move
Yeah you gotta move
People gotta move - Gino Vanelli
Every step that you take makes part of your life.It determines you, leads you, enrich you.Use your power and step trough the day the best way you can.Doing that, even the top of the world is not an impossible goal to reach. So...Go!
*The main aim of our film is to present that sometimes, even small things, can be enough for people to move themselves, make a difference and make their,or someone's else day happier than it is.Our day was full with unbelievable fun, enthusiasm and willingness that was transmitted in only one minute.
We made our step...and everyone of us , at least at that one moment, felt the top of the world.
Myself , Nigel and Gav were stood side by side at this location.
When a group of 1Z10 photographers get together for a railway shoot one of the challenges we all rise to is to come up with a different interpretation of the same scene.
This location is near Thorpe Jnc, the 37 hauled RHTT train fitted perfectly into the top of the S bends as it approached the level crossing which we were all stood behind. The foliage was rich with autumn colours lifting the shot on an otherwise dull day. The shot pretty much chose itself so how would we all come up with an original interpretation.
It took me a while but seeing Nigel's excellent colour interpretation i decided to go B&W with a heavy crop and emphasising the dirt on the leading loco. I embraced the grain and actually ramped it up to 11 to bring out the industrial feel. The shot was finished off with a subtle vignette and a complementary white border.
This is the 3J51 seasonal rail head treatment train which runs from York to Brough via Scarborough and Hull with 37099 leading 37254.
Over to you Gav.
The final offering from my numerous visits to Tunstead Quarry at twilight and after many failed attempts I finally got the image I had been hoping for, a red sunset sky and train leaving the quarry at the same time! I even caught the tail lamp of the cement tanks running through the loader.
DB Cargo Class 60 No. 60040 hauls its loaded hoppers slowly through the quarry sidings, heading for Great Rocks Junction where it will join the national network. The working is 6F05, the 16:10 departure to Lostock Works. 3rd December 2018.
Every move you make
Every step you take
I'll be watching you....;-)

...not me! The theme for Me Again Monday is 'I like to move it, move it!' As you see, I'm not moving at all but I'm sure this door connected to an old warehouse has experienced plenty of moving in and out over the years.

I have found pictures I took of this building back as far as 2011
I always thought this building looked like a school but didn't know for sure.
Sometime after that it disappeared In 2019, we noticed a sign on a building that I am sure we had driven past numerous times on remote dirt road not noticing it before on Henrys cut off. I couldn't imagine the school being this far from town between 1898 & 1935
I didn't recognize it as being the same building. After comparing the two different pictures taken years apart, I realize why. When the new owner moved it he put a different front on it. Looks like he added windows to the side also,
This fall we drove past where we thought the school was located. Each time we though somehow, we missed it. We decided something had happed to it again.
I wrote to a Facebook friend who is very knowledgeable about the area's history
He told me it had been moved back to Henry. I had driven past it several times without noticing it.

The Brown Pelican in breeding plumage takes to the skies near La Jolla Cove, California. The brown pelican (Pelecanus occidentalis) is a bird of the pelican family, Pelecanidae, one of three species found in the Americas and one of two that feed by diving into water. It is found on the Atlantic Coast from New Jersey to the mouth of the Amazon River, and along the Pacific Coast from British Columbia to Peru, including the Galapagos Islands.
