Molino Basin Flash flood. In "those days" you just pulled off the road, stepped off the edge and risked one's crazy life and neck to shoot these images. Had I fallen in, no chance of recovery would have been possible. But, it was film nice slide stuff and I don't regret taking them, ever.
Photos from a hike on Mount Lemmon. We went past the old radar station (now the UA Mt. Lemmon SkyCenter) and through Lemmon Park, then looped back on the power line road.

This was the first time I have seen one of these Squirrels. Their big tufted ears are beautiful. These photos were taken on Mt Lemmon in Tuscon, AZ.
The Squirrels are also named Abert's Squirrels. They are found in the mountains of Arizona, New Mexico and Southwest Colorado among Ponderosa pine trees.

I joined Ned and the gang on the second of the summer Mount Lemmon hikes on August 5 2015. We hiked the loop formed by the Mt. Lemmon Trail and the Meadow Trail (formerly the Power Line Road and the Lemmon Park Trail) at the top of the mountain.

Looking south-southwest from Windy Point, low on Mount Lemmon. Tucson, Arizona.
This scene was about fifteen stops wide. Tough I used HDR and five RAW files for this image, this is an accurate representation. Because the desert is very flat to the west, late sunsets illuminate the clouds from the bottom, yielding surrealistic scenes on evenings you are lucky enough to have clouds.
