Mount Ngauruhoe, New Zealand
Mount Ngauruhoe is an active volcano in New Zealand. The volcano lies between the active volcanoes of Mount Tongariro to the north and Mount Ruapehu to the south, to the west of the Rangipo Desert and 25 kilometres to the south of the southern shore of Lake Taupo. Ngauruhoe erupted 45 times in the 20th century, most recently in 1974. Mount Ngauruhoe was used as a stand-in for the fictional Mount Doom in Peter Jackson's The Lord of the Rings movie trilogy.
This is a shot taken from the bridge joining the Perth CBD (downtown) with Mount St access to Kings Park Botanic Gardens. Ive been exploring this area in more detail and the earlier shots I posted were from this same area. The purple of the flowering Jacarandas can be seen clearly along with the city apartment buildings.
Mount Longonot is a stratovolcano located southeast of Lake Naivasha in the Great Rift Valley of Kenya, Africa. It probably last erupted in the 1860s. Its name is derived from the Maasai word oloonong'ot, meaning "mountains of many spurs" or "steep ridges".
It you pay $30 you can walk the 7.5km along the ridge plus the 3km from and to the gate . Yes, Kenya is not cheap.

This shot of Mount Rundle was unplanned and unexpected. I was driving into Banff, Alberta with my brother as the sun was setting, and out of the corner of my eye I caught the sun illuminating the tip of the mountain, reflecting in the lake below. Thankfully my brother is very supportive of my hobby, so he pulled off the side of the road and waited a good long while for me to set up this shot. To this day, it's my favorite of my collection.
At first glance, one might think this is Uluru, but they would be mistaken. Mount Connor is often called Fool-Uru.
Mount Teide, Teide National Park, Tenerife Island, on Spain's Canary Islands. Its summit is the highest point in Spain and the highest point above sea level in the islands of the Atlantic.
Last eruption: November 18, 1909.
The black streaks on the left were from that eruption.
A b/w depiction Mt. Rainier.
"Ascending to 14,410 feet above sea level, Mount Rainier stands as an icon in the Washington landscape. An active volcano, Mount Rainier is the most glaciated peak in the contiguous U.S.A., spawning six major rivers. Subalpine wildflower meadows ring the icy volcano while ancient forest cloaks Mount Rainier’s lower slopes. Wildlife abounds in the park’s ecosystems."

Clouds come floating into my life, no longer to carry rain or usher storm, but to add colour to my sunset sky.
Mount Rainier also known as Tahoma or Tacoma, is a large active stratovolcano in Cascadia located 59 miles (95 km) south-southeast of Seattle, Mount Rainier National Park. With a summit elevation of 14,411 ft (4,392 m), it is the highest mountain in the U.S. state of Washington, and of the Cascade Range of the Pacific Northwest, the most topographically prominent mountain in the contiguous United States, and the tallest in the Cascade Volcanic Arc. Mt. Rainier is considered one of the most dangerous volcanoes in the world because of its large amount of glacial ice, Mt. Rainier could produce massive lahars that could threaten the entire Puyallup River valley
