"... until the day dawns and the morning star arises in your hearts."
(2 Peter 1:19)
I was walking past my living room window and caught a glimpse of the morning sunlight streaming through the tops of my neighbor's trees. Grabbed my Nikon and tried to capture it.

Let's Travel the World!
I've spent the past decade exploring our world; and documenting the journey in photos and stories. For all the latest updates, follow along on:
Immature bald eagle in the morning sun. Handheld. Will be adding more photos later, sorry. :)
Made it to Loess Bluffs National Wildlife Refuge near Mound City, Mo. for a few hours on an unusually warm autumn morning. Sorry for so many photos, saving to my album, no need to comment.
Early morning sun lights up coastal clouds near Brookings, Oregon. This is one of the shots where I initially thought I had a keeper, but once I returned home the image just didn't work as well as I had hoped in terms of color. Also, the rock on the left doesn't quite fit right. My original intention was to portray a "peeking around the corner" feel, almost as if you were walking up on the scene. Any thoughts or suggestions on this one are definitely welcome!

Looking to the south-east across the River Humber. A glimpse of the morning sun’s first rays through the fire-damaged spars of a derelict jetty.
This is what happens when I wake up and walk out of my room and see pretty things and a camera just happens conveniently to be sitting there.
Not great. Ah, well. At least the idea of it is pretty cool.
i have seen the starlings arriving at the pier but never leaving, until yesterday morning that was. i'm normally a million miles away tucked up in bed.
where do they go? and i wonder what they thought of the snow.....
Walking along the short of Brainard Lake early on a September morning. That is frost on the vegetation below the sunburst.
Quiet cold morning at Kedartal.. Looking through the tent door...
Those first rays upon Thalaysagar...
Seagulls enjoy themselves on a mooring post at Kiel while a cargo ship and a fishing boat go about their business in the clearing morning fog.

Stopped by Centennial Park this morning after work and saw this. It was cloudy with a bit of flurries, but the sky had this unique pink glow. It was still dusk but very pastel looking with the snow on the trees and the glow from the park lights :)
Taken with Canon 6D, Canon 200mm F2.8 L II lens, ISO 1000, 1.5 secs, f11, with exposure set to -1.
Every morning we have our "walking to the office" routine. No matter the weather, we get out for a quick walk prior to having our coffee and getting settled into the home office for the day. HFF

Up into the mountains and into a grassy meadow I traveled, and came across this morning spirit in bloom.
This was another shot of the same flower that I took during my weekend trip to Genting. I like this one better than the other :)
Sony NEX 6, F8, ISO 100, Variable shutter speed Sony Kit Lense 16-50. HDR bracket using Sky HDR add-on on my NEX, really helpful even I don't have GND filter & this photos only minor adjustment on #Snapseed app.
