That morning I tried to resist to use my macro flash and I had used just the natural lights in the forest.. This is my best photo what I took that morning :)
Early morning light on the luscious, lavender-toned Hyacinth at the Lyman Conservatory. Take a deep breath...smells like Spring. :)
My second offering from this mornings photoshoot at Goosehill Pond near Kirkthorpe in West Yorkshire.
This shot was taken slightly earlier than the previous posting, the clouds were changing by the minute but on the ground everything was very calm and still, perfect for HDR photography.

Ominous morning sky behind Hollandiahütte.
Sunrise was more than 40 minutes ago, the black background behind the hut is not the sky... those are the clouds.
The only choice we had, with a prospect like this, is to leave the glacier and get down in the valley.
Anyway, we were already lucky enough: the previous days were simply perfect.
Finland, Helsinki: A wintry morning view from the Market Square towards islands near the South Harbour.
A portrait the morning after 8 straight nights of late shows. "I feel good. I feel...accomplished. There's a deer out in the yard - can I feed her?"
Daylight was just breaking about 7am at Lake Louise in Banff National Park. Seriously the 'Blue' hour on a very foggy morning.
I was so so fortunate to attend a three day workshop hosted by three amazing photographers. Dave Brosha, Paul Zizka and David DuChemin. Do Google them. Incredible talent and fabulous teachers...

Morning light and low clouds gives a glow to the view from the window of a Singapore Airlines Boeing 737-800.
This was captured a few minutes after takeoff from Changi, but I believe we were already over the Malaysian state of Johore.

Christmas morning at the wind beeches on the Schauinsland with starburst. The trees had shed some of their heavy white burden, but I still managed to get a few nice photos.
Some beautiful morning light on Le Cinque Torri loop trail in the Dolomites.
Some time in Western North Carolina, at 38900 ft. elevation. A beautiful morning walk two days ago, led to this vista. I loved all the layers here, foreground to layers of clouds in the sky. It's raining today.
