I've got the Summer blues, and it's not even Spring yet!! Photo taken about two years ago while on my morning walk with my dog.
Oh, by the way, the vultures are from two other shots.
This is a memory from Summer. I went out when the morning light hit all the plants highlighting the drops of rain from the night before. A perfect morning dew.

Thank you for the big fun we had during the session.
I'm taking a fall challenge class with Tracey Clark. It's at our own pace and it's been so nice and relaxing and a very nice way to welcome fall, slow down and enjoy all the details. My friend Christina also known as 22limes around these parts is my partner in crime. Each Monday and Friday we post on our blogs what our assignment was. I really love to see what she comes up with vs me. If you are interested in seeing our collaboration, please visit my blog where I also leave a link for 22limes.
Morning sunlight illuminating the buildings around Mackinac Island’s Harbor as our ferry boat comes in out of the fog.
Looking down from The Kirkstone Pass towards a mist covered Windermere. There also looks to be low cloud over Coniston in the distance as well.

That morning I tried to resist to use my macro flash and I had used just the natural lights in the forest.. This is my best photo what I took that morning :)
Early morning light on the luscious, lavender-toned Hyacinth at the Lyman Conservatory. Take a deep breath...smells like Spring. :)

I went out this morning with a fellow GRIPS member ... www.gripskw.ca ... to a favorite place of mine (Puslinch Lake). Dave... www.flickr.com/photos/dave_van/ and I probably took a couple hundred photos between us. We started shooting just before sunrise until 30 minutes after sunrise.
The fog was very heavy and should lend itself to a lot of fantastic photos (fingers crossed)... this one of many to be uploaded by me.

As we were shooting this series, Angie walked by and said hi... check out one of her shots here... www.flickr.com/photos/26156338@N07/4086102885/
Ominous morning sky behind Hollandiahütte.
Sunrise was more than 40 minutes ago, the black background behind the hut is not the sky... those are the clouds.
The only choice we had, with a prospect like this, is to leave the glacier and get down in the valley.
Anyway, we were already lucky enough: the previous days were simply perfect.
