Just from my window on a cozy morning

I will sing you morning lullabies

You are beautiful and peaceful this way

I know you have to close your eyes on everyone

Let me help you, I'll sing you to sleep

With morning lullabies

Super early morning in beautiful Minnesota!!!

....shades of autumn on a cold winter's morn, seasons mingling as one hangs on while the other forces a change, always something new to see in the quite of the morning.

I did mention I am not a morning person right?

This was a shot from TV so don't know what lake that is but I thought I had a match with "Morning Has Broken" By Cat Stevens...

Playing time 1 min 40 sec...

From early this morning near Byron airport, Byron, CA. The sun drifts lazily up through a thick layer of tule fog and atmospheric distortion, finally breaking the horizon to herald the dawn.

Lens is the A*600mm f/5.6 (with 1.4x TC) on the 645Z.

Morning take-off herring gulls at the sports centre in Stornoway, Isle of Lewis, Scotland.

"Every morning in Africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must run faster than the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning a lion wakes up. It knows it must outrun the slowest gazelle or it will starve to death. It doesn't matter whether you're a lion or gazelle. When the sun comes up, you'd better be running."

Morgondagg i gräset som glittrar när solen träffar de runda vattendropparna, är mitt bidrag till veckans tema rund.

My photoassignment for the group Photosunday on theme "Round", is a picture on the morning dew in the grass who sparkels when the sun hits the round waterdrops.

Morning fog covers parts of the Val D'Orcia in the Tuscany. I took this shot from the city wall of Pienza. From there you have a beautiful view across the valley with it's beautifully shaped landscape.

Please view "L"arge for details.

As Autumn begins to bite we get fog in the morning.

One of those moments when I've sought for (additional) imperfections for the pure fun and joy of it. When it comes to lens flares, some vintage lenses really don't shy away from them. Captured with CZ Pancolar 50mm 1.8 lens.

Our Daily Challenge ... parallel.

A small part of our lounge room with the morning sun streaming in. Lots of parallel lines!

Not what I would consider a good shot by any means, but love how the morning light touched everything yesterday morning.

Morning hike with few friends to a place called "Mozirska koča" (Mozirje mountain house).

Panorama taken with Galaxy Note 3 and processed in Snapseed. O.k., maybe a bit overprocessed, but I did PP at te top of our route and due to strong sun I didn't see good on my display... :)

Mine is the sunlight,

Mine is the morning,

Born of the one light Eden saw play,

Praise with elation, praise ev'ry morning,

God's recreation of the new day.

This morning I dreamed I followed

Widely spaced bells, ringing in the wind,

And climbed through mists to rosy clouds.

I realized my destined affinity

With An Ch'i-sheng the ancient sage.

I met unexpectedly O Lu-hua

The heavenly maiden.

Together we saw lotus roots as big as boats.

Together we ate jujubes as huge as melons.

We were the guests of those on swaying lotus seats.

They spoke in splendid language,

Full of subtle meanings.

The argued with sharp words over paradoxes.

We drank tea brewed on living fire.

Although this might not help the Emperor to govern,

It is endless happiness.

The life of men could be like this.

Why did I have to return to my former home,

Wake up, dress, sit in meditation.

Cover my ears to shut out the disgusting racket.

My heart knows I can never see my dream come true.

At least I can remember

That world and sigh.
