Tipple Monotangle. My idea of doing Tipple inside of Tipple didn't really work the way I thought it might, but nevertheless here it is. Happy tangling everyone.
Haven't done Mooka for a while... So this first Mooka-monotangle for the Diva's Challenge #111 is a bit shaky :(
HI-CS
I've run out of time and have missed the deadline (I had finished this last night but it was getting very late to be uploaded) Oh well, nevermind :)
I do find these Monotangle Adventures quite challenging. I haven't seen what others have done yet - I never know whether you can add patterns within the nominated tangle.
If you have time please visit Roy's Blog mindful-creations.blogspot.com.au/ to see other interpretations.
I decided on an oval shape as I felt Hi-Cs lent itself to dimension and depth... I added some shading - could be better
I can see Adventure #11 Fengle is up and running - can't wait, haven't visited Fengle in a long while.
Oh, another thing - can you see 'Kuke' in the background? lol I have a couple of pieces going at the same time. Didn't realise when taking the pic that it had come through the page :)
thank you for your visit
What a tough Challenge this was!! Doing a monotangle is quite difficult made even more daunting using your non dominant hand - in my case my left - it's not very interesting to me, lacks substance but it did make me Zen out even more so than usual - thanks for looking :)

This was a perfect challenge for me this week. I'm just a few miles north of where the fire jumped the freeway in Santa Rosa and decimated a whole neighborhood and some major businesses. But I'm okay. I sat down with this challenge (and watched the Diva's new YouTube channel) and just focused on this. Filling the whole tile was a very Zen thing for me. It really helped me to calm down. Monday had my adrenaline up.
Check out the Diva's website at www.iamthedivaczt.com/ to see what others have done with this challenge and find out about Laura's new YouTube channel. ;-)
I picked up a purple Micron and then found a mauve background which happened to be a patterned card stock. This is a monotangle of the tangle Fife and split diagonally between the purple pen and white Gelly Roll. I shaded in between with graphite and a purple coloured pencil. I also added Ranger Glossy Accents. #Zenuari2018 #Zenuari2018Day17 #Fife

I enjoy doing these Monotangle Adventures as it makes me think of ways to expand on the basic tangle.
I used Sandra Strait's tutorial on Semi-transparency to give it a different spin - mine are not as good as hers though :) tanglepatterns.com/2011/05/guest-contributor-sandra-strai...

This is my take on Tipple as a monotangle. I love using Tipple to emphasise negative space. I use these tipple-hearts SO often, and have even taught this in class - they loved it :) It looks so lacy and complex, but it is SO easy and fun to do. Not to mention, addictive :P
monotangle with 8sam (by Simone Bishoff)
Deze heb ik gemaakt op een gebogen lijn. Zoiets als een dansende slinger . Voor contrast heb ik wat kleur gebruikt en ook wat kleine invullingen.
I made this one on a curbe. Something like a garland .I have used colour for more contrast and some small details for the intertwined 8's.
experimenting some more with ArtRage & zentangling. Seems to lend itself to monotangles for some reason, maybe because it's harder to be detailed with the lines. I do like how I captured my mood (which is very dark and confused today) with this, at least vaguely.
The Challenge on this Zendala was to use only one tangle. I chose Ving, created by Amy Broady. I'll admit it's tanglelated quite a bit, and I added a few embellishments. I drew it on pink cardstock with Micron pens and used black and white graphite pencils to shade it. I enjoy your comments, so please leave one. Thanks for looking.

This week was to use the pattern 'Indy-Rella'.
Well, I actually thought I was too late to post this one - it's just about the end of Thursday - I can see the link is still open :) cool!
hmmm.... not too keen on this pattern. I wanted to do something besides a flower with this tangle - it turned out to be a bit of a mosh posh - here it is.
To add some interest I added some texture via photo editor.
thanks for looking :)
My second go at the challenge. I wasn't going to do two but as I finished the first one, I had the thought to use the shape of the pattern as the string. In doing so, I was able to divide the space and really explore new ways to vary bales. Size, position, pattern on the loops and in the space between the loops. I've found some I really like!
