The tile on the left is Challenge #11 which was to use a monotangle. I chose Bales because there are so many ways to do tangleations. The tile on the right is #12, in which we were challenged to do Something in Blue. I chose Featherfall, Pais, Mooka and Fescu, drawn in blue micron pen and shaded with prismacolor pale blue pencil.
My very own Cabbit in a monotangle, on a Bijou tile :) Shown here with an official tile [93 "Hearts to Artoo"]

Created for the Swap called Monotangle, which means using only one tangle. It is drawn on 2.5" x 3.4" watercolor painted cardstock, using Micron .01 and .005 pens; colored with Sharpie fine line markers. Tile is exchange with other tanglers from the Facebook group "Zentangle Artist Trading Swap." Thanks for viewing.

I did a monotangle for the Diva 200th challenge!! My go to tangle is Huggins or W2 so I added some variation and hid 200 in it as well as 'diva' in the tangles

And join in the challenge.
On the left is Diva Challenge 5, which was "orbs". Once I figured out that "Orbs" wasn't a tangle but referred to tangles with circles, it was easy. So many tangles have circles somewhere in them. I did Jetties, Onamato, Pokeroot, Striping, and Tipple. Lots of fun.
On the right is Challenge #6, which was "Ixorus"--a new tangle when the Diva issued the challenge. I did pretty much a monotangle. Ixorus is one of my favs. I guess the little "orbs" are either pearlz or beedz, not sure which.

This is all Paradox. The inset square I divided into two triangles. The bigger square was divided into four smaller squares. As I planned for symmetry, I went ahead and drew the first wedge on each square or triangle, so I would remember which direction I wanted to start in. It looked fine without color or shading, but even better with them.

This Diva Challenge is to use Shattuck in a Monotangle. So I did 2 different ones that are similar but end up looking so different. The first one is on a tan tile and I used a string similar to what the Diva used but I used the shattuck on one side to complete the shattuck on the other side. I liked what it did so I did another one with parallel strings on a white tile. I love the flow but what surprised me is the tangle static that appeared when it was done.

This week at iamthedivaczt.blogspot.com/, Laura had us use Fassett, a tangle by Lynn Mead. I decided to do a monotangle and use 3 different variations. Check out The Diva's website to see what other people have done and maybe even do one yourself. Have fun!
I love betweed. But maybe this was too much of a fun thing. And I need to figure out better shading.
An exerpt from my Zenuari tiles, showing Spiral, Monotangle and Frame, clockwise.
This is a challenge I couldn't keep up in the end, due to a sudden, unexpected spell of busy-ness. I might not go back to the challenge, though, because I'd already done the remaining ones before, elsewhere and I doubt I have the luxury of time to do so :P
The challenge this week from the Dare was to make a zendala with a monotangle. I chose the tangle Printemps.
