I took a few shots of this rower (and others), trying to portray some feeling of motion to the images. It's of course easy to nail a static shot but I tend to always feel a static shot of anything that has a strong theme of being in motion just falls a little 'flat'.
The ND filter came out of the bag for this shot, and I think it was made harder due to the downward angle of being up on a bridge and taking the shots, I couldn't really pan at all.
Happy Mono Monday y'all!

Mono Monday
"Smooth" in all aspects...changing gears, the metal itself and of course the driver;-)
I used AI to put this old car in a field. It had been sitting in a driveway in town. The original colour version was Explored, but I think I like this version even better. www.flickr.com/photos/anvilcoud/53921471332/

Kentmere Pan 100 shot on the Mamiya C220. A village churchyard in Lincolnshire. Geographically, the church still lies at the heart of this village, but no longer at the centre of a community. The wide main street had shops, coaching inns and similar. Now it is commuter territory. Now its is a place some would choose simply for its quick access onto a main arterial route south. What did we lose?
Fall is here...the Pampas Grass is lush and blooming in our neighbor's front yard.

Saint Deny's church in Sleaford Lincolnshire. I have photographed this wooden figure head before, but I wanted another go at it. Unfortunately it is close to one of the walls and really hard to get the right position. This time I was squeezed into some pews with the tripod. I like the cobwebs on the figure.
I caught a candid of Danica fixing her hair. Up until then, when she had her hands free, she just covered her face whenever I pointed the camera her way.

Urban Expeditionary with bag, bottle, and phone; all reflected in a shop window, attached to a mannequin at the heel--like Wendy's shadow in "Peter Pan".
Happy Mono Monday!
