Due to popular demand, here's my thoughts on the 645D vs K-1;
Apologies for the length of the video. There are chapters that you can use to skip to specific sections, but as Dan Milnor says informative and useful content just sometimes can't be consumed in bite sized Instagram style, sometimes it takes a short while to get a decent answer or understanding.

A splash of early morning dew - another example of how photography can perfectly capture the little moments in life.
A structure I have photographed before, but this time with the Toyo 5x4 on Fomapan 100. Film was developed in Xtol
I had this shot of a fountain and it was just total water spray, so much so that it was distracting.
I blurred out most of it and left the focus on the spout.

I'm still in awe of the 645D's image quality and resolution. This shot is 100% SOOC (Straight Out Of Camera), only my bordering was added in post. To think this digital camera is a decade old now... quite frightening what it can still produced today. I can only imagine those that owned one at first release were just blown away. In fact I wonder if they even had some of the other peripherals necessary to enjoy the cameras end results such as an adequate photography monitor with enough resolution and colour accuracy/spectrum.
My SiL sits pensively, listening to the person who was introducing her before her book talk at the library.

Well... Covid-19 finally hit us with our very first confirmed infected family member. My son was a close contact of a confirmed case from school last week and finally now has also succumb to the virus. We now wait to see who else in this household comes down with it.
Not bad effort though, 958 days of evasion since the very first confirmed case, Dec 31st 2019.
Not a very happy Mono Monday :(
Monday morning

Part of a sculpture that I saw at the Brisbane Portside area.

I walked into the front room and immediately thought "I need the camera!"
Resurrecting this for 7dos, Mono Monday - because it doesn't all have to be b&w, right? No processing on this, except for a slight crop. Straight out of the camera.
'In need of modernisation'. More from the the fixed Fed 5. This was Kentmere 400, developed in Xtol at stock.

Grant demonstrates the pain and anguish we all feel on Monday mornings, or maybe he's just 6 weeks into lockdown and getting ready for a trip to Woolies.
Happy Mono Medium format Monday! :D
We had seed for the birds, but they were elsewhere, so Sue spread it out anyway and left it for them . . . or more likely the squirrels.

Survivor.
Lens and tripod swapping this evening. 1st element was my hand back lit with a softbox. Cap on, swap to macro and exposed an old tunnel adventure shot on my phone screen from tripod 2.
After finishing both of the past school years online, the kids were happy to go back to school last week. My two grands are in the middle between their stepsisters.
Happy Mono Monday, or whatever it is called.
