This is my newest sister. Well, I guess that technically, she's not really a sister-in-law as it was my sister who married her brother. But I really like their family and hope that we can grow closer despite the distances that separate us.
I still remember every detail about the first time I saw this raging beauty in the apartment she shared with Melody at Syracuse. She doesn't seem to have aged a bit in all those years.

This is by far the best of the hot springs, and the hottest. Unfortunately, it's also the closest and busiest. We had to wait about 30 minutes for a turn in these springs, and then were badgered by a family once in the springs.
Best bet is to get up early before the crowds come, because this thing is busy day and night.

Mono Hot Springs is on the west side of the Sierra Nevada Mountains about 70 miles from Fresno, California.
Directions from Fresno take Highway 168 toward Huntington Lake.
From Huntington Lake watch for the large Mono Hot Springs exit sign on Highway 168 just before the community of Lakeshore. Last chance to fill up the gas tank is here.
Travel 16 miles along Kaiser Pass Road to the Mono Hot Springs Sign.
