This photo took a lot more than my other monkey shot's. For twenty minute's long I tried to get the perfect shot. And after those twenty minute's these three monkey's looked straight at me. Perfect
Monkey at Ponmudi (The Golden Peak),one of the finest hill stations in the state Kerala in India,located 915 metres (3002 feet) above sea level, a part of the Western Ghats mountain range that runs parallel to the Arabian Sea,originating point of the river Kallar. Ponmudi offers nature at its best. It is located in a rich forest area. Some times the Clouds touch the hills.

Badami rock-cut temples (Karnataka) are full of these chaps. This one was kind enough to stay in one place for me to frame this shot.
Description – Goeldi’s monkey
Goeldi’s monkey is a small, rare inhabitant of the Amazon (5). Adults are blackish brown with thick, soft hair and a mane draping from the neck and the shoulders (3). When threatened, Goeldi’s monkey takes an arched posture and raises its bristles in defence to look larger (5). The head and dorsal surface may be spotted with white flecks, and the tail may have two or three light coloured rings at the base. Juveniles are similar in appearance, though they lack these tail rings and the draping mane around the neck and shoulders (5).
My oldest monkey went to the loading dock behind Papa's shop, put his chin down on the wooden wall, rolled his eyes back and stuck out his tongue. Immediately all the kids had to try it... though the display kept getting interrupted by giggles.
Capuchin monkeysCapuchin monkeys are tree-dwelling New World monkeys that live in central and southern America. These intelligent and clever monkeys use tools such as stones to crack open nuts, shellfish and crabs. Their abillity to be easily trained gave rise to their exploitation as organ grinder monkeys. They were named by explorers after their resemblance to an order of Catholic friars, the Order of Friars Minor Capuchin.
