This one was built for a customer in 2005. I believe this unit is now owned by a music department in a school.
The photo was taken by the original purchaser.
Modular Origami Star (Maria Sinayskaya)
"leftover" rectangles (5*12,1 cm), 16 units, no glue
Hm, not my best folding ever:) Although technically there is nothing wrong with this star, it was just difficult to make it neat in the center.
Do you want to try to fold it? If so, leave a comment and if there are at least 5 people who are willing to fold and show me the result, I'll make a short tutorial.
This cube consists of 138 4cm x 4cm squares folded into identical sonobe modules; the final size is about 6cm x 6cm x 6cm. The printed areas are made from pages from an old dictionary.

Son 6 módulos de 10 x 10 cm.
La pieza es básicamente una base pájaro blintzeada, con un pliegue hundido en el medio del papel.
I've seen this ball on mike moore's photostream. it's a fumiaki kawahata design and some longer while ago leyla torres posted instructions of it on her old blog.
I thought that the ball looks one of those puzzle things to me you might get in a toy shop. so I left it in a toy shop. when I left the shop I took a last look back and already saw an employee studying the model with apparent interest. mission accomplished!

More pictures of the colony ship. I actually prefer the shorter variants pictured at the end. Also much easier to move around. The completed thing falls apart a lot when moved even slightly.
When I tear it apart perhaps I shall post more pictures, but there's nothing especially exciting going on internally, apart from maybe the bridge.
Apologies for the lack of post-production on these, but I simply don't care enough to faff around trying to remove backgrounds, etc. I'm impressed by the clean photography from many of you, but I'm not that person.
Parcel Collection Office
The hustle and bustle of a busy little parcel office along Market Street where the Minifigures are coming and going, with a couple taking a short break for a chat.
