Here's the stock FireFly.

Step 1: Remove all screws from the case, make note of the 3 screws that are different front the others, they go in the stock. You do NOT need to remove the two screws in the cocking lever, that will come out all on its own without removing the screws.

There should be a total of 20 screws including the one on the battery cover.

The avionics and targeting suite is a modification of the system used on the F/A-35 display. It combines FLIR and night-vision technology that plugs directly into the display system set up in my cowl and Robin's and Nightwing's domino masks. This allows for complete 720-degree field of view. Targeting systems allow for up to 40 targets to be tracked while engaging 10 targets. Like the F/A-35 all information from the SARH can be sent to the MC3, the Batmobile, the computer in my body armor as well as Robin's and Nightwing's armor, the JL's computers, and Superman's computer at the Fortress of Solitude. The SARH is also equipped with the latest ECM and ECCM systems to confound any weapons systems as well as flare and chaff dispensers.

not really an "elegant" solution but it works fine.... I'll see if I can find a better solution

The foot design in the Exosuit was ok, but I found that it was not nearly as stable as I would have cared for. With the addition of the big fuel tank/Jetpack, the extra weight caused it to be even more unstable. I extended the feet back by 2 studs. I also widened the feet with a small bracket and tile underneath. After taking this picture I replaced the 1x1 tiles with a cheese slope.

There are two power wires running to the sunroof.

A 25 amp always on circuit , and a 15 amp circuit that powers the sunroof (and the dash power outlet)

The goal is to re-route the switched circuit so that it can work off the always on circuit.

Head Modification Contest

Contestants were required to do a faceup based on the theme of PNW BJD Expo 2016: BJD Comic-Con

meet my little boy. At least I think it looks more like a boy then a girl at this moment. The head is not at all what I was planning to make but I think it looks ok.

Now I'm thinking about trying to mod te ears with apoxie sculpt. (some kind of donkey ears) What do you think??

The wires for the auto mode sensor were removed and replaced with a 47k ohm resistor. This converted all the auto (color) settings to a 1/8th manual power setting.

Contour HD battery movement modification, using piece of nylon banding / woven plastic package strapping.

The texture and rigidity yet flexibility seems to be perfect to jam the battery and stop it moving.

This setting is for my 80ED Triplet refractor. The Vixen bar and saddle allows me to balance the mount in both axes perfectly.

I had to stuff a quarter piece down the center of the formation (Gluing the barrels together in a diamond pattern would have prevented this problem, ah hindsight) to seal off the airflow there, and then stuffed half-pipe pieces of FBR down the edges to help hold the barrels in place.

To make sure the barrels are far enough out to get the seal correct, slide the shell casing onto the adapter that will eventually be used to attach to the titan and slide the barrels down until they connect with the adapter.

Here's your Firefly reassembled, the placing of the white pieces is critical for the advancing mechanism to work correctly, so make sure that the turret advances before reassembling the shell.

Also make sure that the cocking lever is oriented correctly or the gun will never catch when you cock it.

Distances when shot flat, 2 sets of 8 shots (Rounded down to the nearest foot):

42, 34, 34, 33, 33, 32, 32, 29

43, 40, 38, 36, 32, 32, 30, 29

The letter opener only fits into the sheath about 2/3 of the way down so I chopped off the excess sheath just below the "V" on the original and used a 2 part epoxy clay to create a new bottom. Then I sanded down all of the excess detail the original had. You can see that in this shot I left the detail on near the top but changed my mind and sanded it down.

I filled in the slots running down the center with more 2 part epoxy clay and built the anchor for the sageo out of the same epoxy using just a simple rectangle shape and then cut the hole out with an exacto knife.

okay people, how else can I say it? These monkeys just weren't very cute.
