This coat closet is just inside the entry way and will be converted to a network closet. It has a pulled pair of cables for satellite TV. The alarm system was already mounted. As gas powered speeders were introduced, Milwaukee Road brought out a saw, hammer and nails and created a storage spot for them inside the Brookfield, WI depot. With speeders no longer the means with which MOW crews move down the ROW, the rails used to get them back and forth between the depot have long since been removed. However, if you look closely, there are two notches in the sill plate under the speeder doors. There's a lot of history in this building if you look for the details.....

I had to cut several holes in the back of the case to fit the I/O shield-plate for the new motherboard (Asus P5Q-EM), and a full-size ATX power supply unit.

The pattern calls for doing the exact same thing on the back and front necklines, but I know my kid prefers a lower neckline in front than in back, so I did the front decreases differently than called for in the pattern.

Here the to newly bent iron bars are together with the original footpegs. These four are going to merge into to really big and wide custom made footpegs.

I turned an old, broken Nikon 18-55mm kit lens into a macro lens using an approximation of this procedure:

These are the parts I had left over, i.e. the bits and pieces removed from the lens in the process.

- Plastic front cover ring
