Shot at the December Lightist meetup with an old Hollywood and noir theme. Awesome shoot that really made me push my boundaries into styles that I don't normally work in.

Any thoughts on the post processing? I thought it would be interesting to stick to my go-to rut, yet make some changes to suit this style as a last step.

On July 6 & 7 the Chasewater Railway held an excellent model railway exhibition at their Brownhills West station. One of my favourite layouts was 'Tat Bank' a depiction of a fictitious breakers yard at the end of steam locomotion. Someone said to me that modelling a steam loco being broken up was harder than a working one and I can well believe it. This shot shows just how much detail the modeller has gone into, as we see workmen dismantling a loco's boiler.

The best I could every do was a half decent 4x10 foot HO gauge layout when I was a kid. Imagine having the ability to have something like this?
