Polar Lights Spider-man model. Built in 2008. I used various techniques of dry brushing, washes and chalk pastels. I didn't like the plastic web that came with the model, it looked like a flower trellis, so I painted some cheese cloth to make the web. I used crackle paint on the banister and kickboard on the stairway. I used a fine point Sharpie pen to fill in the web pattern on Spidey and finished everything off with a matte sealer.
Ryomou Shimei from Ikki Tousen.
Since there was some time left at the last shooting I take this one and made a simple photo.
no add's, no PS, only light and focus.
I hope you like it.
I will take a longer rest during my video projects. But my storage is filled with brand new figures and my head is full with some crazy ideas for the winter09,
So, stay tuned...
Here is a '67 Chevelle (1/25 scale, by Revell) that I've been working on lately. I was going for a beat up, Mad Max, Post Apocalyptic type of vibe with it.
I started with a base coat of matte black, then applied some chalk pastels and acrylics ontop of that. For damage to the body, I used a wood burner. This was a lot of fun to do, and definitely gives me ideas for future projects.
This is my plastic model kit (HO scale) of the Munster's House by Moebius. I bought after-market parts; stone wall, the dead tree, the base with "Spot", photo etch parts, and a lighting kit.
This is my first commission job for Gundams. I'm happy with the results, although it was a pain to assemble. Paint work went all right, however, there were some incidents of Spider web spray phenomena with Mr. Hobby paints. I suspect the wrong cleaning detergent used to prepare the air brush before the actual paint work.
This kit box in particular had lots of incident of plastic breakage. I suspect its a manufacturer defect.
Never the less leaving all that aside, right now we have it here, not much of a pose i must say (^_^).
Painted model kit with a custom made base to add a little detail.
This kit was great to build, I decided to redo my old paint job. It's a little much but I still like it. Decided to create a custom base to add more character and to show some environment. I made it with modeling clay, some branches, paint and moss.
