I've assembled several Gundam model kits before but this was the first time I took it a bit further than just piecing it together. I went in and did some basic paint work and line detailing. unfortunately there is a piece missing from the forehead assembly and one of the "spikes" of the yellow part in the forehead assembly has been broken off due to transportation and storage. I had put this together a while back and moved since then. Just recently I had the urge to do more with it and gave it a proper photo session. Since it is a little damaged, I'm thinking of making it into a battle damaged project in the near future.

The set up I used was 2 desk lamps, a couple of soft boxes that I fashioned out of cardboard and the tissue paper usually used to stuff gift bags, and a flat black poster board that I smeared gold glitter craft glue on.

This is an original horizon(Blue art box) T2 arnie kit which i painted using the same technique as i always do and made the base out of alloy and wood.

Aside from Star Wars action figures, giant robot models and toys also cover my shelves and desk space.

This 1/100 Master Grade Gundam Wing Zero model kit is currently in the works. A few decals here and there...still need to sand down some spots and obviously build the wings.

This was really difficult to do. I started from the front of the ship, but the double tape came with a really strong glue, so if you miss a milimeter at the front, it will turn out to a half centimeter missmatch at the end.

Bandai ~1:16000 Alliance Star Destroyer - view of the port side. The level of detail on the vertical faces compared to the Revell kit are clearly apparent here.
