Laetitia Ryuu-Bi (Frame Arms Girl)

Once again, I loves me some models... never have time to put the ones I decided to keep together! A man's got to know his limitations... at least I'll have a hobby when I retire.

Here again are my two Beavers and Huey on the Dulacca Flightline. This time the South Vietnamese unit is nearer.

1/144 modelkit

I got an old Dark Phoenix model kit and it was hideous so I set to work re-sculpting and re-painting her, what do you think? I am a little happier with her now

I've assembled several Gundam model kits before but this was the first time I took it a bit further than just piecing it together. I went in and did some basic paint work and line detailing. unfortunately there is a piece missing from the forehead assembly and one of the "spikes" of the yellow part in the forehead assembly has been broken off due to transportation and storage. I had put this together a while back and moved since then. Just recently I had the urge to do more with it and gave it a proper photo session. Since it is a little damaged, I'm thinking of making it into a battle damaged project in the near future.

The set up I used was 2 desk lamps, a couple of soft boxes that I fashioned out of cardboard and the tissue paper usually used to stuff gift bags, and a flat black poster board that I smeared gold glitter craft glue on.

A really nice kit to build with the extras

More accurate than the Italeri kit but requires a lot of fettling and dry runs

One of the many plastic kits that I built

I built and painted this one.
