Tamiya scale model kit in 1/48th scale.

Model represented will be "Snortin'Bull' as flown by Capt. James Mulling, 507 Fighter Squadron, 404 Fighter Group, based at Saint-Trond airbase in 1944.

Scale is not provided but I think its about 1/50 scale

A plastic model of the Velociraptor mongoliensis. The pose shows the running stance of the swift and agile predator of the cretaceous period. These carnivorous beasts ran among the deserts and scrublands of what became present day Mongolia. The fossils often resemble aged bone as they are often fossilized in sand giving it an off white tan color.

One of many kits that i built as a kid,now selling them off on ebay after sitting my loft for ten years & my parents loft for twenty years !

Latest model kit, as Stranraer is my home town and these aircraft operated from there during WW2 I have wanted to build one for some time. Hopefully it will lead to some future pictures of construction stages and eventually the completed model.

Since this is a figure, you can't demount from base I decided to erase it with the PC. Shadow, BG and light are from the original shoot. No studio tricks.

Finished in 63 Squadron Markings circa 1982.

The kit also includes Metal Pitot Tube, Metal undercarriage, CMK FOD Guards, CMK Flaps, Aires Mk 10 Ejection Seats.

An interesting scene shot when we were taking apart my original 1979 Star Wars Falcon kit that I made circa 1980 or so. We took it apart to get the bottom half of the cockpit, which was missing from the 1989 version I recently bought. Turns out the two versions are the same size, so we're going to make a copy of it.

I think these were Monster magnets? No matter, they're still cool and they come from Monster Dork Studio!

I built this ship kit out of its box some years ago, and enjoyed the build. It has been released a few times under different names such as "Trinidad". I wish that fifties and sixties ship kits were available.
