This hull is made from a solid chunk of wood and it's got some weight to it! Not sure how pond-worthy it is. This type of bow has made a comeback of late and can be seen on deep water oil rig tenders and is referred to as an Ulstein X-bow or an 'inverted bow'. My first boat: the YTB (yard tugboat) Hawkins Cove. Built from a Dumas kit. These kits aren't like plastic models; assembly is still challenging, and doesn't really take any less time than it does to build one from scratch.
Prinsesse Ragnhild, the ferry from Bergen to Denmark. Run by Color Line. You only need 35.855 BRT with waterproof gingersnap to make it float.
