It's MOVEMBER!
I am growing my moustache to help raise awareness (and money) for Men's health issues such as male cancers and so on.
If you can donate anything at all, then please go to my Mo-space at mobro.co/craigmansell and hit "donate".
Every little helps, no matter how small the donation.
Thank you.
In celebration of Movember 2014, we thought we would bring you some of the great examples of the ‘Mo’ to be found our archives.
This image - entitled Manchester Police Special Constable 1918 – depicts a very dashing figure with an exceptionally fine Mo!
Movember began in 2003 and has so far raised over £340 million men’s health projects.

I wrangled 3 friends into running the 21st Annual Harriers Thetis Lake 20K Cross Country Relay with me.
Preliminary results: we were 52nd out of 99 teams overall, with a combined time of 1:36:06, and individual times ranging from 20:53 to 27:02.
Entry fees from this race and the Gunner Shaw Memorial, in 2 weeks, have raised over $350,000 and funded 8 scholarships to the local college & university.
Since it is once again the month of Movember. I'm part of a team of lip-wig farmers at work (called, appropriately, DFMo.)
If you think I look good in a moustache, please consider donating. If you think I look terrible, disgusting, creepy, or hilarious in a moustache, please consider donating. Your donation goes towards raising awareness around and research into prevention of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide among men.
You can donate here: mobro.co/13640469. You can also see more photos of my moustaches over the years while you're there (if you like that sort of thing.) As little as $5 helps us towards our goal. Thanks!

Movember
Movember (a portmanteau from the Australian-English diminutive word for "moustache", "mo", and "November") is an annual event involving the growing of moustaches during the month of November to raise awareness of men's health issues, such as prostate cancer and other male cancers, and associated charities. The Movember Foundation runs the Movember charity event, housed at Movember.com.[2] The goal of Movember is to "change the face of men's health."
By encouraging men (whom the charity refers to as "Mo Bros") to get involved, Movember aims to increase early cancer detection, diagnosis and effective treatments, and ultimately reduce the number of preventable deaths. Besides annual check-ups, the Movember Foundation encourages men to be aware of family history of cancer and to adopt a healthier lifestyle.

Happy Movember from 1999 (Victoria, BC).
I remember this apartment well. First time I ever saw the police use a taser was down the hall, when a neighbour decided to answer the door to the police completely naked brandishing a knife in one hand & a pair of antlers in the other. Probably not the wisest decision he made that day.
Day 330
25th November 2012
Along with alot of other men in the UK my hubby is growing a moustache for Movember, in aid of Testicular and Prostate Cancer awareness. I'll share a photo soon but today to celebrate the last weekend of the 'mo' Chap donned an eyeshadow moustache and I photographed them both together. P not a real fan of the result so this was my fave for today's photo :)
ODC 2 Challenge 'The Colour Orange'

2 of these wonderful people didn't jump in this month (but we're still really glad they came!) and one other showed up shortly after, for a total of 10 in the water- not bad for a chilly Movember day...
Rachel and I were the only ones to go all the way over and back this time (about 140 m each way?), followed closely by a very curious seal.
If you wish, you can donate to my Movember campaign here. Raising money to raise awareness around and contribute to efforts against testicular cancer, prostate cancer, and men's suicide.

Just a week to go and workmates are avoiding me in case I should ask for money! ha! Tightwads. If you have any spare change, donate it to a good cause. If that good cause is my facial hair then even better. And any blokes reading out there, make sure you have a play with your bollocks tonight. And think of me when you do it. That way I can guarantee you can check for lumps without getting an erection.
And yes, I do need a proper haircut (not!) and yes, that is a two ninety nine watch from Argos. Rock on!
Its the real McCoy
Take the sting out of looking rediculous for the month by chipping in at mobro.co/taggartjm to support my #Movember fundraising challenge.
