I thought this was a modern fake when I first saw it but, no, I found out is was originally built in 1936 but relocated and renovated when the Detroit Tigers built their new stadium.
About 1 in 2 Canadians will develop cancer in their lifetimes and 1 in 4 will die of the disease. Cancer of the prostate has a 10% share.

Hadn't realised that this week's theme for Me again Monday was hats…. so I had to do another one.
Sponsor me for Movember here !
one month till Christmas, please consider giving a little to a great charity devoted to causes to help prevent men from dying too young.
Movember is the month-long fund-raiser for men's health issues - testicular and prostate cancer, mental health, suicide prevention.
Originally, it was all about "the mo" - growing a moustache for sponsorship. Now though, there's also "MOVE" where you can be sponsored for having a more active lifestyle. I chose to try and walk 10km+ a day, and set myself a challenge of 400km for the month. If you'd like to support the cause, check out my progress at: mobro.co/cobbydale?mc=1
It must have taken this young man years to grow this wild and bushy beard. I interrupted his lunch to capture this image.
UK grooming company Mo Bro’s hires bearded men to let customers stroke their facial hair for a fee of £5 per 5 minutes. All proceeds go to the UK housing and homelessness charity, Shelter.

Okay, so you're sick of my ugly mug: how about these instead?
It's Movember and I'm raising money for men's health. Please take a look at the issues and consider donating at:
I uploaded this image on 14 November 2011, the day before I went into hospital to have my prostate removed after being diagnosed with prostate cancer back in the summer. This coincided with Movember, the fantastic awareness and money raising campaign for men's cancers which is marked by men around the world growing moustaches for the month of November.
To 'celebrate' this, each November since then, for every view of this photo I have donated 10p to charity, equally split between Movember and Macmillan Cancer Care.
In 2011 the image had 1,166 views and, rounding up, I donated £60 to each. In November 2012 it was 372 views (I donated £20 to each) and then in November 2013 it was 1,337 views (which meant £66.85 to each).
If by any chance you feel inclined to donate more yourself then click on either (or both) of the following links:

As an aside, the image is dated October 1907 and I believe the gentleman on the left is John Hook. The other chap looks similar and I suspect from the obvious familiarity may be his brother. I hadn't mentioned when I uploaded this image that it was one of three similar images, all with slightly varied poses. They make a great triptych.

Update November 2014: Here we go again! I can't believe it's now three years since I had my prostate removed. After a blip and a course of radiotherapy early this year things are looking good again :) So it's time to repeat the challenge and donate again to two very worthy causes! For the record, as of the start of the month the image had had 16,112 views.
Update November 2013: For the third year running I've donated 10p for each view on this image during the month of November, split between Movember and Macmillan. Flickr has changed the way it reports stats, which led to a whopping 1,337 views. Ouch! But it's all to two great causes ... So that's £66.85 each to Movember & Macmillan.
Update December 2012: For the second year running I donated 10p for each view on this image during the month of November, split between Movember and Macmillan. In 2012 this amounted to 327 views, so I've rounded it up and donated £20 to each. In fact thanks to The Big Give and Gift Aid, plus a donation from pellethepoet, the total amount raised is £86.35:
Think about this for a second: globally, men die 6 years earlier than women. To make it worse, the reasons are largely preventable. 1 in 9 men in the US will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime. Testicular cancer is the most common cancer among young men. And 3 out of 4 suicides in the US are men.
Pretty shocking, right? That’s why I’m doing Movember this year: they’re dedicated to changing the face of men’s health and so am I.
The money I raise this Movember will help fund groundbreaking research, innovative health projects, scientific breakthroughs for cancer treatments and life-changing mental health programs.
It's the last day of Movember, so please donate and play your part in helping prevent men - your fathers, your brothers, your sons, your friends - from dying too young:
How do you #movember?
Had the pleasure of taking photos of my friend and his family. This one's for his Movember charity page to raise funds for cancer cure/treatment in honor of his late father.

It's the final day of Movember and I wanted to say thanks to all of you that donated to this great cause. With your help we have raised $335 $410! You people rock :-)
I heard a cheer from my wife when she heard my electric razor...heh!
There is still time to make a donation!
Here is the link to my Mospace if you would like to help out:
Every little bit helps :-)
Thanks again everyone and I hope you all have a great weekend!
This whole exercise is to raise awareness and monies for research. Make your contribution at mobro.co/taggartjm
We're past the half-way point now and I wanted to say thank you. Any funds you've donated (or hopefully will still donate!) will change men’s lives, while drawing much-needed attention to important men’s health issues.
But what about the things that can slip our attention?
A friend who’s not sleeping, a colleague who’s lost interest, a family member who’s increasingly irritable?
Chances are, a man close to you is struggling with their mental health right now.
The signs can be subtle. They could be right under your nose.
Spotting these signs can make all the difference – in fact, it could be lifesaving.

There are still three weeks left to Mo, and I know you can make an incredible impact on Movember's mission to change the face of men's health by donating, no matter how small the amount. Thanking you in advance.
Meet Fez, I think it's the 2nd time he's making an appearance on my stream. This was after our Movember team photo was taken for our company blog. My mo is not as good as Fez's but if you really like to see you can head over to mobro.co/ep3. While there perhaps you can donate as well specially if you support the cause. Cheers!
I just wanted to pick it up and throw it into my back pocket.
