Movember is almost over. Last night I attended the Movember party in London. It was fantastic. The place was packed with MoBro's and MoSista's, all dressed up to suit their Mo's. Worldwide Movember raised £7mio for Prostate Cancer Charity. An amazing amount. Next year it will be more and bigger then 2008. Growing an moustache in Movember is great fun, its for a good cause and for a whole month you look ridiculously handsome! Spread the word, see ya in Movember.

November is Movember, a tradition originating in Australia to bring public awareness to prostate cancer. During this month, men are encouraged to shave whatever beards they might have, if any, and start growing a moustache. You can find more information at this link and can also donate money to the cause there.
Even if you can't donate any money, please spread the word. Thank you. :)

Long time, no self portrait... but they always come around in Movember. It was another high key Movember. black and white. with a big capital M.
I was trying to get this shot with my SLR but gave up and used my iPhone instead (think I might have been inside the minimum focusing distance). The mo has grown some what since last week...
If you want to donate to this worthy cause (which you should as one it's a very good cause and secondly I'm got this stupid tash for another 15 days) follow this link;
If you don't know what Movember is;
Movember, the month formerly known as November, now dedicated to growing moustaches and raising awareness and funds for men’s health; specifically prostate and testicular cancer. I’m donating my top lip to the cause for 30 days in an effort to help change the face of men’s health. My Mo will spark conversations, and no doubt generate some laughs; all in the name of raising vital awareness and funds for cancer’s affecting men.
Why am I concerned about men’s health?
*1 in 9 men will be diagnosed with prostate cancer in their lifetime
*This year 37,000 new cases of the disease will be diagnosed
*1 in 2 men will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime
*26% of men are less likely to go the doctor compared to women
PS thanks to flickr friends who have donated so far!

Since it is once again the month of Movember. I'm part of a team of lip-wig farmers at work (called appropriately, DFMo.)
If you think I look good in a moustache, please consider donating. If you think I look terrible, disgusting, creepy, or hilarious in a moustache, please consider donating. Your donation goes towards raising awareness around and research into prevention of prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and suicide among men.
You can donate here: mobro.co/13640469. You can also see more photos of my moustaches over the years while you're there (if you like that sort of thing.) As little as $5 helps us towards our goal. Thanks!
Another Friday update on day 21 of my little effort towards the Movember charity event. Thanks to people's generousity, I have so far raised almost £100 towards male cancer issues.
