such a sad story!
today i decided "hey, lets step out of my comfort zone a bit and try some shorter exposures" what a bad idea....
iona beach is one of the only beaches in vancouver that gets decent waves, and i thought i'd take advantage of that by doing some 1/4 second exposures to catch the cool movement of the water. turns out i underestimated the size of the waves and ended up dousing my camera with a few big waves.
so by that time my filters were wet and sticking together and i couldn't get a decent shot, and about 20 minutes later we had THE MOST GORGEOUS SUNSET EVER! i could have cried.
i think the biggest thing i need to learn is patience........ stupid patients.
so here is one of the long 2 minute exposures i got before the big wave hit

i don't really know what it was for me... but i haven't been able to draw anything for a while.
i'll be back, i promise, and i'll still check in from time to time to see whats up.

I really liked this one but it is very similar in color to the day before's and I guess really not all that interesting. I think it fit my day a little better though.
