The Fort Huachuca Select Honor Guard conducted the dignified transfer of remains of Sgt. 1st Class Frank G. Vejar Nov. 5, 2021 at Tucson International Airport. Vejar, a member of Heavy Mortar Company, 31st Infantry Regiment, 7th Infantry Division, was reported missing in action Nov. 30, 1950, after his unit was attacked by enemy forces near the Chosin Reservoir, North Korea. My new girl arrived today. She's a Pullip Mitzi! I honestly can't believe I own this girl - I love her so so much already though. I got her with almost all of her stock - she's just missing a glove and her face is in such good condition omg.

I was on Figueroa Mountain last weekend and spotted this chair and flowing drape. It turned out to be a local photographer's mother day shoot. Thank you Claire Hartnell for allowing me to photograph your beautiful setting! (disclaimer: I did take some artistic license with this and added one of my own cloud photos to the sky.) I titled it Missing You for my Mom.

These photos all come from a 1971-74 album which was found in some disrepair at MRS HQ RAF Valley; some pages may be missing and they certainly were not in any chronological sequence.

Some photos were damaged and many too firmly glued in to be removed for scanning so each page was re-photographed and each photo then extracted including any relevant text.

The album has now been returned wrapped, boxed & returned to Valley. If you can identify anyone not named please use the Comments Box below to add their names.

Missing piece found!

/// On St Patrick's Weekend I went on a Road trip to Mojave Desert and the Big Sur coast (Photo Set, route). I took this photo in Mojave, a town in the middle of the desert. I was trying to get as close as I could to various planes that were parked at Mojave Airport. Some of the planes were in good condition, waiting for buyers; others were being stripped for parts, or were falling apart.

Wood Lane bridge, with the capping stone missing on the right; this stone will be replaced this week by J McCann Ltd

The missing piece in the cat puzzle. I've been taking pictures to document where missing pieces occur so that I can either refer back when we put it together again or notify the next puzzler if we pass it on to someone else.
